You're looking at 54. I can already mount it to a standard truck chassis with little difficulty and spin tires at 30 mph uphill, so a plane might not be too far away.

Eventually I will put a windshield in the back and make the tubes that hold the lamps look better, but I cant seem to find that one bloody prop, any constructive criticism on other parts is welcome.

Wow. You already accomplished one of the hardest things to do in the process of making a helicopter - connecting the fuselage to the tail or the "tail boom." (imo)
Thats already half the battle right there, as far as the building portion. Now, finish the nose and then you are pretty much finished with the hard parts.

nah nah it's not lost. i think i have at least 3 wip dupes of it. the third one being pretty much where i just had to add those things. i haven't fired up gmod to check yet though. the annoying part is that i know that i didn't save the 50 prop cockpit interior for the gunners seat.

Also that helicopter a few posts above mine is amazingly done.
that 6x6 truck is fucking awesome because it reminds me of the days when we only had the metal plates and other simple PHX parts.

Looks like the turret's aiming at the dead combine because the npc entity doesn't remove until a second after it's died. Try a <= 0 health check in the target picking code? (if you're using E2)
First post in contraptions thread for ages and it's E2 advice. I guess I just don't build anymore, it's all about the chip baby :v:
It does hang for a bit, but that's the find function I think, it's not based on find next...

Yeah, the find function is detecting the invisible npc entity, and that thing sticks around for a sec after the npc dies. Pretty sure if you do something like (V & V:health() > 0) on the combeens it'll work better. You can do that really easy if you don't care about always targeting the closest one, otherwise it'll cost you some ops because I don't think there's a way of ordering the find-array by distance.
