Was inspired to go build something from Karbine's most recent car. Made this.

I'm not sold on the headlights or any specific color. The car will have an engine propelling it forward. Seats 2 (hopefully).

The windshield should be angled more, maybe 45-60 degrees. Otherwise that car looks quite nice.

Worked a bit more on my car.
-Completely revamped the roof (steepened rear angle, lowered front angle).
-Added more interior/exterior details.
-Added vents on hood 'cause I thought they looked neat.

Had the idea for that beast in Phys ed class this morning, sketched it real quick, then got home and modeled it. It will probably be the next thing I build in gmod, modeled it first so I wouldn't forget the design

from a realistic perspective, i don't think that vehicle would work; the engine, which i presume would be a turbine, would only really fit in front of the rotors behind the pilot, which would add a lot of noseweight.

pilot+avionics+engine+transfer case. all the fuel in the rear and wings probably wouldn't offset that weight, not to mention you would need compressed air jets to keep it from diving while hovering or taking off

come to think of it how the hell would it move forward

Hmm. One of those longer engines, like an F414, with ported inlets and exhausts could drive the ducted fan shaft and fit in the rear. Vented exhaust gas would probably provide a degree of the flight control. Also, fuel distribution and controlled consumption would even out a lot of the weight. It looks like forward thrust would come from ports in the wing roots, similar to a TU-16; between the rudder and thrust variation from there it'd have excellent yaw control. So while it'd be an effective vehicle probably, with good handling, it'd be a plumbing nightmare.

It would fly in theory, provided mass was added to the tail as counterweight, (and/or large forward lifting canards) but it would take some serious avionics. Also at high lateral speeds(under the wing root turbines) having a donut in the middle wouldn't exactly be aerodynamically efficient, though it looks cool. Only thing I can't figure out is where I would put the landing gear.

Still, vastly more airworthy than the combine gunship :v:
