tbh if it's purely Bethsoft doing everything, the scenery and environments will look good, but the writing will be terrible. I mean Fallout 3's story was just a nonsensical mess and Skyrim's story was just bland and uninteresting. FONV had a great story since it was Obsidian's take and Obsidian has a bunch of former Black Isle Studios employees in it who worked on the original Fallout games, but I feel like Obsidian didn't do enough to build up the world to make it feel like a huge desolate expanse of desert dotted with bare remnants of civilization and some sort of big paradise in the middle. New Vegas itself as a location was very underwhelming and I feel like they could have expanded it with its bordering areas like Freeside much further to make it feel like a sprawling metropolis that was barely touched by the nuclear apocalypse.

the visuals do legitimately look much better than i was expecting but it's still probably gonna feel like blazing hot garbage to play

I'm not sure if it's 100% but in one of the skyline shots you can see the gold dome of Boston's Beacon Hill, as a Massachusetts native, I'd be very interested in what towns and what parts of the Boston metropolitan area are represented in the worldspace and how far west the map will go.

I don't think I quite understand why everyone is so skeptical. It's a good trailer in the sense that it's using ingame footage and isn't promising something it can't deliver. I'm normally not a fan of Fallout, but the fact that it isn't brown or green already makes me more interested then I would be otherwise.
people were dissing the graphics in the announcement thread. i think visually it looks fucking amazing. not every "next gen" title needs to be a Crysis-esque graphical game-changer.
Whoever says that the graphics are awful ought to be sent to the Funny Pizza Gulag.

the graphics are fine but we can only hope they're not just in service of mostly samey visuals and atmosphere like 90% of skyrim

It isn't really fired, since Costco are opening up here and there around Australia and Aldi are coming over, Coles is shitting itself statewide and cutting casual workers hours and such. I'd go back to being permanent but there are too many.
Honestly for the kind of work you have to do in a supermarket (especially as a restocker) it's almost not worth it.
You should try to get a job at footlocker, bunnings or officeworks. Pay's way better.
Although quite rare without having a pre-app qualification (Still possible without one tho) if you're willing to put the effort in working as a off-hand for a tradie is pretty good, and most of them will pay you about $100 a day too.
Yeah I've actually been looking at the Officeworks around the corner. Coles pay wasn't terrible though.
Bunnings is where it's at to be honest, you can make $25 an hour just being a fucking greeter.
