Could someone give me some legitimate, in depth criticism on this pose and where to go from here? Honestly, posing lately has started to become really tired partly because I can't find any ways of improvement. People say to learn Photoshop but tutorials that aren't incredibly broad like how to use a certain tool or anything are far and inbetween. I'm probably going to count myself out for a while if I can't get out of this funk. I can't look at my content anymore and be properly happy with it because I've raised my own standards too high to enjoy it. Is that deviantart?[/QUOTE]most of lonefirewarriors stuff features a wide selection of characters from various works, often in the act of doing something goofy or awesome. this appeals to the many fandoms nesting in the bowels of DA and gives him a very wide audience. the fact that his stuff is actually good and not typical autistic half assed fan art goop is of course another major factor. this at least is my theory for why he's popular

I hosted a small game dev meetup at a local coffee shop last weekend. Expected no more then 5 people or so. Final headcount ended up being around 26+. Now I find myself head of a group of game devs with 50+ members and growing. So far it's been an interesting experience, mostly because renting meeting space in my area is expensive as hell. This makes me super excited because the gaming scene is strong (a local festival even hosted a LoL tournament), but not the game dev scene. Also, check out this Kickstarter. They're cool guys in my area with some incredible talent on their team. They came to our first event to show their game "Beard: Life Grows On". [url]https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kickthedragon/beard-life-grows-on[/url] Anyways, that's a bit of what I've been up to. Just felt like sharing.

I am constantly dumbfounded by how hateful facepunch users are towards eachother. Like do some people on this forum honestly think that just because you disagree with someones sentiment you can act like a snide asshole and it's completely justified. People need to realize there's a difference between an actual argument and ad-hominem. Regulars of SH are almost always unlikable people that either choose to be very cold and calculated or just actually in fact have very little social skill. To clarify I am referring to people that post in most if not all SH threads, not people that just read them.
