If it were 60 on consoles and 30 on PC then I could see it being and issue. I've also never seen the appeal of going above 60. All I've ever seen it do is make games bug out.

Those that do support it natively work out just fine.

anyone remember Prototype? i had ungodly amounts of fun with that little adventure and feel like playing it again as soon as i have a PC

For example, I play Skyrim with an ENB that brings me down to an average of 30fps. Because of this, the input of my mouse is not as smooth or efficient and I might as well play with a controller. When I turn off the ENB, I get an average of 60fps and my mouse input becomes more responsive and it brings ease in target acquisition and generally looking around.

Still, what i'm refeering is that you can enjoy a game without having every single setting maxed out

I've found some interesting stuff in Mirror's Edge [img]http://www.wduwant.com/index_uploads/uploads/c0885c766.jpg[/img] On the left side, you have the original sign in Tokyo, Japan. On the right side is a sign that can be found in Mirror's Edge. I'm not sure if you ever find it in-game, but it's in the files and it's in the pack that I released not too long ago as well. It looks quite worn and other than the color and the other sign below it, it's completely the same. It can be found as a unused part of the texture that belongs to the smoking area. It's very difficult to ready anything in it, but if you look at it from the right distance, you can recognize "Tokyo" a couple of times. For example - look at the top right corner - [i]Tokyo ????? Line[/i] Perhaps if you're bored, you can try finding this on a real map. I also think the coastline is very close to Tokyo's albeit [i]slightly[/i] modified - I'll post a screenshot ASAP, need to restart my PC because my GIMP and Photoshop are being lazy bitches and don't want to start up sometimes... ...Even though it doesn't really matter - All I'm saying is; Mirror's Edge takes place in Tokyo.

The city is far too American to be Tokyo. Earlier builds possibly had parts set in Tokyo if not the city originally being Japanese. The city as it is now being in Tokyo is impossible.

I mean, Tokyo's got more landmass around and the bay is much bigger, but the river and the coastline (at least on the left side of the real map) look [i]almost[/i] identical to me. edit: Look at the screenshot [url=http://media.moddb.com/images/downloads/1/74/73871/auto/b5ft5i.png]here[/url] - those mountains don't really the match the mountain ridge that can be found on the map - I think the skyline that can be seen from The Shard at the end of the game matches the coastline of Tokyo more than the map itself But to be honest, the files for the CPF cruiser say [i]VH_NYC_PoliceVehicles[/i] and then again, what are the languages used in The City? English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian... is there any other language that I've forgotten about? ... I'm pretty sure it's Tokyo as well. Actually, it'd be interesting to note on what side of the street the cars drive in that game (I never played it so I don't know). I'd say that given the fact that the main character is Asian and the hidden sign signifying Tokyo pretty much solidifies it taking place in a future version of Tokyo.

The one time I tried it I had a pretty bad time. The front half of my body from the top of my head to my belt felt ice cold and it felt like my viewing angle of everything was tilted 45 degrees to the left. I then started becoming way too aware of my own heartbeat, like I could feel it and hear it really clearly. It wigged me out so I just went to bed and slept it off. But I know the typical stoners who just get goofy and hungry, people that get paranoid, or people that just get sleepy. It's pretty weird.

It's pretty weird.[/QUOTE] i miss weed. been off for about a week now, but as the days pass i miss it less. i had a fucked up reaction last time i smoked though, but it's cuz im on medications now that don't mix well; ended up having a wicked bad anxiety attack felt like i was gonna die, heart rate was jumping between 70-180 (i counted) my breathing was shallow and forced, felt like i was on the verge of passing out. just plain bad. also hi everyone long time no see. i doubt anyone would remember me though
