I've been smoking weed off and on since I was 15 (I turned 20 on the 29th) and I ain't never had a reaction like that, the worst I've had is greening out (Smoking too much buds, feeling like you're about to puke and then actually puking.)

But I remember one time I was at my mates and he swore the stick ($25 dollars worth of weed) he bought was laced with something like PCP, and he thought he was gonna die. I remember he was too afraid of smoking anymore of the chop that he sold the rest of his cones (bowls) to his older brother for $10 dollars.

I dunno man, honestly your case sounds pretty unique to you. I've smoked a lot of dope, and been around people smoking a lot of dope and I've never seen someone react like that. Either you a lightweight ass bitch, or that was some strong ass weed.

To be perfectly honest I feel a lot of people over hype/over exaggerate the effects of weed, in all honesty especially compared to "speedy" drugs it's weak as piss. But I still like it cos it's nice to chill out with especially if you're smoking with mates.

My personnal experience with weed was absolutely awful. I've never smoked any, nor will I ever do but the"friends" I had who smoke ALOT of that shit were just complete assholes with that. Always trying to get me to their thing, talking 24/7 about cannabis and if it wasn't enough, they said they weren't addicted to it but still had to smoke literally EVERYDAY and would get angry if they had lost a single milligram of weed.
Not to mention that you're feeling excluded when you'r not into weed yourself.

If you ever want to start smoking, make sure to never get to that point. If you need that everyday, there's something wrong with yourself.

But still, I'm not against weed as long as you can control yourself.

Honestly it sounds like your friends are just a bunch of posers.

I've smoked everyday for periods before and other than some sore lungs it didn't make me the weed fiend you seem to imply. I find if you're a shitty person drugs are just going to make you more shitty, your friends were shitty people.

I absolutely despise "weed culture", honestly just the word "stoner" pisses me off. I think people should treat it as a alternative for Alcohol; You can have a pretty good time on it, but if you go too far damn right there's going to be some consequences.

I've never tried weed myself and I never will. I just don't see the point...
In any case, I have these two idiots in class that smoke weed in public places and roam around the city (Stockholm) high.

They were a danger to themselves so I left a anonymous tip to the school administration. One week later the police came by and confiscated the stuff they had in their lockers.
I don't think the two of them learned their lessons though despite having to talk to the police and youth services.

Well you get what I mean, just like if you drink too much you're going to be a mess emotionally and physically, the same can happen with weed, just you'll probably suffer a partial lung collapse not alcohol poisoning.

My intentions were to convey that, even though I'm sure a lot of you believe recreational user of weed = lazy "stoner" that lounges around the house all day not contributing anything. There are plenty of people that enjoy the recreational use of marijuana but still maintain being a functional productive member of society. Just like there are a large group of Facepunchers and other Internet forum users that remain straight edge but do nothing but sit on the computer all day also not being productive members of society.

It's kind of like if you said everyone who drinks is an alcoholic.

yeugh, I just had the worst computer problem experience... I had a game(legit copy)and i tried to install it (vivisector: beast within), turns out it comes with literally the most cancerous DRM, that of which is Starforce :copy protection. it would cause my computer to go in system repair mode every time i boot the game up.
