You get the option to install the OS without modifying your data/files.

As much as I want to upgrade to 10, I'll still wait for the first service pack.

No point having all your stuff if it isn't gonna work right. And that is why I am holding off on an update, that, and well I have a year. Best to know and let some initial kinks get worked out. But the cool thing about Steam is, even if it does wipe out the registry but leaves every file intact, you just run steam once, and it'll fix it up, and you can carry on from there.

I need some help finding some better stuff than the vanilla stuff that I have, would anyone be able to point me in the direction of some better models, maps, and scenebuild stuff? I'm having a hard time navigating the workshop.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Now, maybe you remember me pointing out that Mirror's Edge is or was originally set in Tokyo and I've also posted that little low quality map, asking you guys if you could decipher it - Well, I've actually managed to do it myself. Have a look at this map again, it's found on [i]"T_SmokingArea_01_D"[/i] and previously I thought the map wasn't UV mapped onto the model itself, HOWEVER I have found out that it actually was present on the model but it was hidden behind what was supposed to be a glass pane, which isn't even transparent in the game - and I've just figured it out and made it transparent for the Garry's Mod port.
