ive just had terrible luck, the girls that ive been with have turned out to be either teasing harpies or, get this, asexual. For me getting laid in some one night stand is much more likely than finding any kind of lasting relationship

Most of the women I know are either married, have a boyfriend, or have children by some other dude. The ones that are single are way too young for me. There's also the fact that I have a fucked up fear of rejection, and I'm super shy when it comes to actually talking to a woman. I get really nervous and scared that I'll fuck up and say something stupid , completely killing the conversation. So I never engage in conversation in the first place. Alcohol helps only slightly, making me more talkative. Thing is, I'll end up saying something I really shouldn't. The only two reasons I ever got a girlfriend to begin with was her boyfriend before me was an asshole, and pure dumb luck. May it be talking to women (if that's your thing) or talking to men (if that's your thing) when it comes to personal relationships is just to realize most of the time unless you're anti-social other people are human beings just like you, you shouldn't assume everyone is going to view you as unattractive (may it be your personality or appearance.), plus staying on the fence isn't going to get you anywhere, you either go for it and he/she responds positively or negatively and you have to deal with whatever outcome as best as you can. also you need to understand your partner what makes them happy or sad, their character traits and mannerisms, they need to be your friend too basically, so you know when you've fucked up or when things are going smoothly. You can't get anywhere in life unless you put the effort in you know. And in regards to breakups and being rejected, people don't judge you on what happens to you, it's how you carry them, try not to let previous convictions hold you down or let them ruin you. And plus the number one thing in a relationship is that you're both happy, think back to if at the time both of you actually were happy? or if you currently feel unhappy in a relationship or you sense your partner is maybe something needs to change (that doesn't necessarily mean a breakup.) or just talk about it together don't just let it stew. and if you have no'one, go outside and do something that involves meeting people and the rest comes naturally really.
