Well... Now I have to save 1.157,05 EUR for my new rig. Fortunately I don't have to buy a new video card.

man i'd probably be happy with a 500-600€ rig but then again i've been stuck with last-last-last-generation technology for so long - always, now that i think about it - that my standards aren't exactly high

I took a risk with an x99 combo deal on newegg, but the mobo was defective (and also had shitty lane spacing), so I ended loosing the rebate, up getting half the money back for it, and ended up having to buy a more expensive one to replace it. I would have not spent a grand on new computer components if I knew that I'd have to spend more later, loose my license for max 2012, and after completely rebuilding my OS from the ground up, I'd still be unstable as fuck due to windows updates/unstable drivers.

whoo-o heading off to a gig in Helsinki tomorrow, and doing a show at the downstairs bar of one of the best known gigging places there too two and a half hours of sitting in a tightly packed car with our guitars, amps and eachother, then (hopefully) blowing the venue up, then heading back home the same night before a massive blizzard hits. if it comes early, we're fucked :v: let's hope the crowd is bigger and a little more energetic, and [I]younger, and more[U] female[/U],[/I] than at our previous gigs
