Which makes sense for content which takes significantly longer to produce. It also exposed the content more.

They were pretty dead. I consider "activity" being frequent participation and discussion over posted content. Usually the content in the video section was infrequent, but it wasn't rare to have one or two people rate it, leave no comment, and then the video rotteds on the front page for a month or so. [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] The solution wasn't much better, but I'm used to it by this point and try to comment on stuff I find worthwhile.
