Honestly, he had it coming. I can objectively say that his posts could be taken as offensive by some of the mods, and if he'd been smart enough to figure that out, he'd still be here with us. Too bad he's been banned, he made some screenshots, and some people considered him a friend. But that's life. You adapt to the rules or you are "removed". I'm a high school graduate and I know it, I assumed it to be common knowledge.

Tried Oculus DK2 at Toronto VR meetup yesterday. Damn it is good. I can see why people in the reaction videos went nuts. You just have to let your mind accept the virtual reality as the real one and you feel like you're there. Weird, but cool thing - once you're "in", it feels as if the FOV increases (it's pretty good as it is, but even more so). 1080p screen is pretty good, screen door effect is negligible after some time, but with a 2K display...ho-ho, that's gotta be gud. Oh and also sense of depth. No other 3D gives you that, things come out of the screen, but you can't "feel" how far an object is. With Oculus - you can.

anyone got info on if the new Battlefront will be Oculus compatible?

God, I fucking [B]LOVE[/B] Dead Island. I went back and played it again. You know how a movie can be "So bad that it's good". Dead Island is a game that is "So mediocre that it's hilarious". I think it is a perfect timecapsule of popular buzzwords, and when people ask what AAA games were like between 2010 and 2015, I'll show them this game. I don't think I will ever play such a mediocre game again in my lifetime and that actually makes me sad. Dead Island is a testament to how formulaic AAA was in 2011, and we will continue to find it relatable until the next big event that causes AAA to back down from big budget titles.
