It's because I have beautiful eyes and none of you are worthy enough to view them. But really, it's primarily because the helmet sucks and was sitting weirdly and looked kind of dumb so i took the opportunity to hide it.

The camo they use in Black Hawk down is 3 color desert. I always thought it was called DCU (desert combat uniform) but I learned recently that that's just the type of uniform they wear, not the name of the camo. Like how the chocolate chip/six color desert uniforms they used in the Gulf War are DBDU (Desert Battle Dress Uniform) and the M81 woodland uniforms were BDUs (Battle Dress Uniform). Military terminology is confusing and poorly documented.

Choco chip is great. I've got nothing against 3 color desert, it's just kind of boring.

Except it was less efective than 3-colour desert in Iraqi environment. I've heard choco chip's colours were based on US deserts. Also, the black "chocolate chips" themselves were reportedly overheating. Though with the colours changed, it'd be a great looking and effective desert camo. Of the cold war era.
