Anyone else here ever have those cases where like, two games from the same dev are really similar, but the tiny changes are enough to break it for you? For me it's like-

Demon's Souls - Meh
Dark Souls - Love it
Dark Souls II - It's decent
BloodBorne - Meh x 2
Dark Souls III - Really Love it

Like I don't think Demon's Souls or BloodBorne are bad games, quite the contrary actually, but the more I let time pass and marinate on my thoughts regarding it, I think the differences are just enough for me to not really like it as much. A lot of the stuff I liked in BloodBorne were the things more akin to Dark Souls fights.

DSIII does need some re-balancing and edits though, there's also a few limits on things that don't really serve much purpose other than being an arbitrary limit.

Medal Of Honor went from god tier to shit tier with the last couple of games. They really fucked up the transition to modern times.

Call Of Duty has had its ups and downs. CoD1 was great, but then CoD2 was trash. CoD4, World At War, MW2, and Black Ops were great, MW3 was a bit of a letdown, Black Ops 2 was decent but not as good as the older ones, Ghosts was shit, AW was pretty good, and Black Ops 3 was strange but still pretty fun.

I don't think making an entire game out of the worst level of Ghosts is going to be a good idea.

That space combat was a cool idea, but it's really fucking annoying being shot at from every conceivable direction.

That is completely backwards. Fallout 4 has a better world, better story, better gameplay, better visuals and pretty much everything else. I can't think of a single thing in FO3 that is in any way better than anything in FO4.

I had fond memories of CoD2, but I went to play it recently and the entire game is just "capture this location, ok now hold off counterattacks" repeated over and over again. It's just dull as fuck.

CoD2 : Big Red One was way better imo, it felt more like CoD1, wich was pretty great, and it was more immersive. Same goes for CoD : Finest Hour, it had the best ambiance out of all the other CoDs, call me when you find a game that has more epic cutscenes than this one :

Red Orchestra 2 would have been AMAZING ranked but they used english voices, added an unlock system, and really didn't have a lot of content straight out of the gate. It took awhile to get any extra content and it was just a few maps, vehicles, and an MG-42
They took a lot of things that made Ostfront great and either removed them completely or changed them drastically. I miss being able to bail out of a tank and fall back to base and I also missed ranged tank rockets like the Panzerfaust

theres two different cod2's, an xbox version and a playstation version, both very different games if i remember, the play station one was much better i thought although i did enjoy a few levels on the xbox version

I actually really enjoyed COD3 too and I wish it got a PC release. I really like what they did with the story and just the levels in the overall campaigns.
