I also never understood the mix with the desert uniform and the woodland vest.
In the gulf war, it's because they didn't make enough/issue enough desert camo covers for the vests. I don't have one yet either. In the early 2000s/invasion of iraq the use of woodland camo was because again, they didn't make or issue enough desert camo chemical protective oversuits, so they had to make do with old woodland ones.
it's supposed to come with a camo cover, but he doesn't have one because he is poor [editline]26th January 2016[/editline] fuck
I am not poor I just found choc chip BDUs for sale for dirt cheap and threw that kit together with what I had because I could.
im the one with the best vest cover fight me for it
[QUOTE=F T;49611300]im the one with the best vest cover fight me for it[/QUOTE] proof

I own an absurd amount of US surplus and airsoft guns. I don't even play airsoft anymore, I just fuck around with them at home.
I wish I lived somewhere where airsoft was a thing and could afford all that. It seems like it can be pretty fun.
[QUOTE=simkas;49611443]I wish I lived somewhere where airsoft was a thing and could afford all that. In a few weeks now I have my trial which will decided wether or not I may join the Swedish Armed Forces.

Exactly. [sp]What I mean is that why play around when you can do the real thing? Personally I'm doing it to make a difference and help. To me that matters.[/sp]
Well considering airsoft carries 100% less risk of [B]death[/B], I understand more why people would rather do that then join the army.

I'd join the armed forces if this country wasn't so shit. I like military stuff (except not british military stuff since it sucks) but I don't really fancy putting my life on the line for a nation I don't even want to live in.
holy fuck kali since when are you british [editline]27th January 2016[/editline] wtf
Regrettably, forever.
:(

I just wnated to share my point of view on the whole thing. I do understand why people airsoft etc. and I def. see the attraction but I can't help to notice all these Tier 1 kiddos thinking they're hot shit when all they do is run around and do well... you get my point. To clarify; Not diminishing airsoft as entertainment as a whole, I know there's alot of postive effects and since it started it have given birth to many awesome things but I myself would rather do the real thing and help people (as naive as it might sound), even if there's a risk of dying.
I've always wanted to join the military (even tough the belgian army is shit and the government doesn't give a single fuck about it) but I'm starting to believe that I'm not made for it(i'm a complete shit at sports), I am aiming for the police instead, much more accessible for me imo.
I play(ed) airsoft because there's no military in the world where I can be a 1980s US army man anymore. Airsoft is great when you just play it to have fun. It's a game. There are people who take it way too seriously, and those people are dumbasses. I wouldn't have bothered starting to play airsoft if I had access to real guns, which is why I kind of stopped now I've taken up clay shooting. I'd prefer a day at the range to a day running around in the woods with a bunch of 12 year olds and tryhards in multicam.

as much as id love to try airsoft i feel id end up just buying a ton of gear that i think looks cool because i went paintballing a couple months back and nearly passed out
only for the first round tho i tore shit up the next couple (and missed)
Most of the stuff I've posted pictures of myself wearing is partly "because it looks cool" and partly because that's the gear i need for the impression i'm going for. I tried running with my flak vest on once. I'm hesitant to try again.
i also learnt to never take the paintball jumpsuit off because after i did the nine cunts i went with all aimed for my tattoo
i used to do airsoft, was fun, but the group i played with was shit, i was the only one with camo and one of the few using a full auto weapon while everyone else ran around in red shirts and light grey hoodies swinging cheaper spring powered guns my gear was a strange hybrid of american Vietnam era and 80's shit (WOODLAND!) and my gun was a Marui M16A1, with a spring powered Marui USP for a sidearm, extra mags in vest pouches plus a bottle of pellets in a WW2 style USMC backpack - i still have all that crap too [editline]26th January 2016[/editline] my favorite maneuver was lying invisible in the undergrowth shooting half blind faggots wearing bright clothing in the back
