Putting decals on the windscreen seems like a terrible idea.
I actually made a mistake on the RX8 to replace a decal with a vinyl and ended up replacing it with a graffiti that was huge (the yellow one), I erased it but I forgot to take pics from it without that on the windshield
i can't release my Warhammer shit on the workshop unless there's some Workshop uploader program with the compression capabilities of our Lord and Saviour 7-Zip does something like that even exist? and if not, then where should i release my crap
You could split it into parts. I'm going to have to do that with my AK pack since I stopped giving a shit about the file size months ago.
it's already in parts and splitting it further is simply out of the question [editline]26th April 2016[/editline] so anyone know any alternative places for distributing stuff?
digital ero???? hehehehe
That moment when you get a random ass nosebleed and now your whole math assignment and textbook is splatter with your own blood. FML.
Joazz, i know there's mega.co nz some people might know more, I know hauptmann uses it to upload his stuff.
Mega is one of the best sites I believe, or MF
Heres the Black Ops vehicle and CS GO weapon packs atleast. Blops 2 by Kali: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1338271 CS GO guns by Kali and Bloo: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1295651 WW2 Germans by Ninja Nub: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1439358 Idk about the rest tho.
Thanks a lot. Anyone have a link to gm_black?
Camo jackets can look cool enough if the outfits put together well.
If by outfit put together well you mean you're actually in the military and doing a task presented to you that requires you to wear your field/utility uniform yeah. Wearing cammies as part of civi attire always looks Tacky. Wearing some pants if you do a labourer job maybe but other than that you look like a faggot.
Joazz, i know there's mega.co nz some people might know more, I know hauptmann uses it to upload his stuff.
i dont need uploading sites, i need a place where they get some visibility, somewhere people can easily find them
The only place they're likely to get visibility is the workshop, sadly. If you can't split it into parts you could always upload whatever will fit as a 'sampler' pack and stick links to the rest of it in the description. There's SFMlab too for the SFM crowd but it might not even fit on there.

gmod's workshop size limit should be around 200 megs sfm's is lower iirc, but i'm not sure what it is
I don't think there's any rules about sticking links to other stuff in your workshop uploads, I'm sure plenty of people link .svns and stuff there. I remember there used to be a rule about "no multi-part addons" on the old gmod workshop uploader too, but I don't think anyone is actually moderating the workshop. Plenty of people seem to do it.
ISn't there a website called garrysmods when the garrysmod.org website crashed? Maybe that one could work?
who even uses that thing for anything other than retrieving old files
Are there any good water props to simulate the ocean? I'm getting tired badly photoshopping it into scenes. I've been trying to get by with that water model on the workshop, but it's round and its texture is boring transparent TF2 water.
Your best bet is to use a map with water on it like this https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=346096610&searchtext=sea

I still can't see VR as much more than a gimmick.
I seriously don't get the excuse 20-30 year old somethings make when confronted about how they watch children's cartoons "it's for all ages it's got adult jokes in it!" Even though most of those jokes they're referring to barely constitute as anything "adult". Stop trying to justify it and just admit you like kids cartoons for what they are; kids cartoons.
butthurter what if rami malek appeared in a cartoon for kids would you watch that? #AskingTheHardQuestions
i unironically enjoy some of the Rebels and Clone Wars stuff
I still can't see VR as much more than a gimmick.
What if there's a VR game where you ride a mechwarrior, would you play it?
Nope.
when people watching star wars rebels or clone wars or whatever those 3d cartoons are called and say "but its got really dark episodes like that season finale where a main character unofficially dies offscreen by implication"
I can tell you've never watched them.
I still can't see VR as much more than a gimmick.
Have you tried it? It is straight up impossible to tell how cool VR is without trying it.
what are you guys talking about, vr is great
what are you guys talking about, vr is great
I wish that guy would just remove that video or something. People always post it as some kind of negative VR thing, yet it's a 20 minute video cherrypicking the only negative parts out of a 12 hour stream that attempts to convey an opinion that is the exact opposite of what the overall opinion from that stream was.
