So, i've just tried to post my first new thread in General Discussuon section. I'm little bit scared about it's destiny, but hoping for best.

You know it's a forum update if it's pointless, shitty, completely without benefits and no one agrees with it. Who cares about the actual users though, right? It's totally not as if people come to Facepunch because it stands out to people as unique. Clearly a terrible Reddit clone is the way to go and user input is completely unneeded. What a fucking shitshow.

It sounds so dramatically different that I'll really need to see some of this stuff in action before I draw conclusions. I like the idea of subforum self moderation and creation, but I'm worried it's going to be a race to get '1st' and we end up with a subforum owner that just managed to click create before everyone else. At work, I turn avatars off for this site since so many of them are really not work friendly. I used to have a title shrinker as well, but that shit doesn't work anymore.

In all seriousness, we have our group so we should know what to do. I think we should all vote on a moderator to make it.

Or just move somewhere better.

I think everyone is overreacting to it honestly. I don't like some of the supposed changes but I guess we'll see where things go.
