Chocolate’s acting like we just got fucking married or something—fidgeting back and forth and giving me goodbye kisses before going out on a delivery…waitaminute does she go out in public and deliver things in that maid outfit? That can’t be legal. Then again, this is Japan.

Female Customer A and B (remember those cunts from episode 2? They threatened to report me to the cops for not buying shampoo for the cats) are giving me side remarks from the sidelines. Ohh look at how cute you two are you totally love each other it’s so obvious.

According to Vanilla, I’m giving the female customers lecherous looks. Hey, fuck you, creampuff, it was your idea to get me to fuck your twin sister (and you too, you incestuous freekazoid), don’t go giving me speeches about lechery. Don’t go talking to me about hurting the poor catgirl’s feelings. Stupid jealous cat. I’m starting to reconsider picking her over Chocolate back in episode 1.

So this chapter’s theme is Vanilla being an envious piece of shit. If my fucking sister hadn’t forced the twins on me, this cat would be fucking fired. She’s being that one character who thinks everything I do is something perverted (so, in essence, a feminist) and the game is forcing me to spend time with her to talk it out because, again, no agency here. I’m resigned to my fate, commentating from the sidelines while I watch my avatar fuck recently pubescent catgirl twins in creepy threesomes. At least my sister seems to have pissed off back home with the rest of her harem.

So I teach Vanilla how to make a cake in a drawn out segment that really serves no purpose other than to act as a vehicle for comments about her chest size. Eurgh.

And suddenly Kashou is actively flirting with Vanilla. Well I guess I was predestined to end up with the blue one this whole time! Amazing. Let’s place bets on how this will come to bite me in the ass in the next chapter right now. I will never be able to eat cake again. Goddamn this game.

And suddenly Vanilla’s in heat. I can smell another sex scene coming. At this point I’m just resigning myself to fate. Guess I was just tempting fate with that opening line, wasn’t I? Well it doesn’t happen right away, so thank the All-Seeing One for that (how many different fictional deities can I thank for things before this playthrough is over? Huehuehue).

So Vanilla’s gone full Tsundere on me now and the game is just using chocolate’s newfound…confidence as an excuse to get me alone with Vanilla now.

Somehow the written sound effects are so much worse than the audio ones. Why the fuck did they WRITE OUT sound effects? Fuck sakes.

Aw and on the fucking table where we mix the ingredients too…Someone’s going to have to clean this fucking mess and it sure as hell isn’t going to be me. I’m no Commander Shepard, I know how to delegate.

So we have another sex scene, this time to the tune of Rise Against and Linkin Park (which makes it slightly less cringey and infinitely more hilarious). It’s just as uncomfortable as it was yesterday. And off go the sound effects for this one. I can’t deal with them when I switch windows to write. I love how they do all this crazy stuff but they still censor the private parts. Waitaminute…how the fuck do these kids know what precum is…? Never mind, I don’t want to know.

I did get another steam card out of this though. This one was worth 40 cents. Half the time I think it’s one of you turds gifting me the sequel.

Fuck sakes, I’ll never be able to have sex again after this game (implying I will ever have sex again after this). Sex is officially a trigger for me. Thank you NekoWork, you sick fucks. Somehow this sex scene is longer than the other one, even though it basically boils down to the same thing.

And immediately—IMMEDIATELY—after this sex scene (well…the next morning) my fucking sister is looking for kisses and “sweet nothings”. Like, she’s not even trying to fucking hide it anymore. so entire folders worth of seemingly random models dont work anymore in gmod. A few of Kali's guns I manually downloaded, all of Ninja's MGO stuff. some skins I did and a whole bunch of other shit which I use every time i start up a map no longer spawn, and some of them have their spawn icons broken which i can only assume as being double fucked.

I'm noticing more and more stuff that's replaced default HL2 stuff. I've got Missing Information Combine soldiers and headcrabs, Sin Episodes item crates and door skins, and my zoom function is fucked since the textures are being replaced by something.

At least if I recognize where it's from I can go and manually remove the stuff I'm seeing.

I can't speak for most people, but the only actual problems I've encountered with gmod following the update have really been a result of my own poor housekeeping when it comes to addons. Things like trimming out conflicting or unnessecary folders that I probably should've removed anyway ages ago.

I'm fairly certain there was a legitimate reason to prioritizing addon content, otherwise there wouldn't have been an update at all. I know this is Garry we're talking about, but I'm sure he didn't just do with the specific intent of fucking us over.

My only problems have been half of my screen pink/black checkered and audio replacements, I usually get weird sounds for the inventory and spawnmenu, but nothing really 'annoying'

The reason seems to be to get rid of pirated content addons, but they didn't take into account free mod content folders.

I don't see how prioritizing that content would get rid of that kind of addon.

I read something about how there was a new system that prioritized the loading of certain content for certain maps, so for example TF2 maps would prioritize TF2 content and avoid the nasty clashing textures that you'd get sometimes, but I've heard nothing of the pirated content reason.

Awesome, now Steam thinks that K.F 2 isn't installed when it is, it does even let me launch it if I use the KFGame.exe shortcut, but it does still thinks that it's not installed. It doesn't bothers me, but it removed my Digital Deluxe stuff so now I'm pissed
