I played the first Gears Of War once, it was boring.

First GoW had a legitimate fear and hopelessness factor but the others seemed standard or not as end of humanity-ish [editline]8th March 2016[/editline] First time I encountered the Beserker I almost shit myself, that thing was nightmare fuel

Gears 3 was supposed to be the last game and they went all or nothing when they killed Dom and Marcus's father. But somehow they later decided to keep making games, and that was the point when they ruined the saga

i liked the atmosphere of GoW 1 but i loathe most of its art style everyone looks like the lovechild of Quasimodo and Brock Lesnar

i remember reading from a games magazine that GoW characters communicate mostly through grunts, is this true i've never gotten to play any of the games

Are you all Jews or something because what Joazzz said wasn't even that offensive, I mean yeah part of it is his responses to your responses but you were kinda asking for it when a bunch of you piled up with "WOAH watch yourself partner!" replies. It's definitely not PC or the funniest joke around but it hardly deserved half a page dedicated to it. And it's not like holocaust jokes are a new thing it did happen 71 years ago, plenty of time to make many insensitive jokes over it.

The Gears art style and single player are pretty ass but the multiplayer has some serious depth. I suck at it but man the shotgun battles are intense.

And don't post if you're going to do the classic FP thing of all ganging up on one post and essentially saying the same thing like the echo chamber FP can be sometimes. Jenkins I understand what you are doing but the situation was resolved so there's no point in continuing to argue. Of course it's not the worst holocaust joke most of us have heard or read (sadly) but it was a bit out of line and people reacted to it which is perfectly normal, it has nothing to do about being political correct (unless discarding the deaths of millions is a new standard). But yes you are right, it takes two to fight and it is important that both parties acknowledge their roles in the whole thing and any potential things with room to improve. Although the point still stands about it being resolved already.
