Well obviously they wouldn't only moderate this section you goofball, it'd just be nice if we had someone who was a moderator that did shit in other sections but just also happened to care about here too. [sp]1-800-it-was-fucking-obvious[/sp]

Clearly having more moderators to keep the retards in the rust forum and SH in check was more important than having a moderator here.

I sent a message to one of the recruiters with a list of screenshot regulars who'd be able to handle the moderator role, hopefully they'll at least save it for reference in the future or something.

I don't think most of the people on that list would make good moderators. Myself included. I know it doesn't really matter anymore, but I feel like a good screenshots section mod should be someone who's active, knows their stuff, and who's proven to be neutral and not the kind of person to get embroiled in drama.

i'd vote Vioxtar tbh, he's level-headed and really knows his shit

Vioxtar, Cone, Everest, Agilor and Sharker seem active and they know their stuff, so I'd think any of them would be reasonable candidates. Lt_C would make a great mod if he hadn't moved on from SFM/Gmod.

As the mods said themselves, the screenshots forum isn't that active (compared to fast threads/sh/rust) and there are rarely problems, so I don't think it'd be that much work. Still, I wouldn't want to be a mod. I'm an asshole and I don't know dick about making good screenshots.

So are most good images done in SFM? Is gmod inferior? Is there a large difference? Is it possible to git gud and make something just as good in gmod + post?

Yeah I made that mistake. They're both different tools that can produce different results. Everything else has been debated and is finalized.
