Nah, thanks man!
Does anyone here plays The Mean Greens - Plastic Warfare? It seem pretty cool.
If you were a fan of the old 3DO Army Men games, it's kind of like a lover letter to those. You have 5 weapons, and there's about a dozen maps, each with their own game mode/gimmick. It's a good bit of fun, especially with friends.
A lot of people complain about server issues but that's because they're using P2P instead of joining a dedicated most of the time.
I'd recommend it if you have friends who you can play it with or you enjoy simple TDM/DM games.
Weren't you in the military noofa? How have you become overweight?
That and it's not uncommon for people to put on a couple kilos after they get out and aren't doing physical training daily. I know I did.
You start gaining weight because you still eat the crap you ate while you were in. You aren't as active as you used to be. Before you know it you've got a beer gut that's developed.
Like Jenkins said, you were doing training or some type of excising every day so you could get away with eating junk food. Now... not so much. :P
The military is demanding if you are in a training course school. Your body needs food to compensate for the physical abuse you're enduring. Same goes for Rusty who conducted patrols in his unit's AO, and had to carry a lot of equipment under the heat of Iraq. Once you stop putting effort and get put in a job where the only thing you do is push papers all day like me, then you start gaining weight since you haven't changed your previously calory rich diet. When I got out of the reservist officer school of infantry, everyone was commenting on how many muscles I acquired just by doing menial work every day, like carrying heavy equipment, which I lost pretty fast once I became a cadet officer therefore not a private anymore and mainly supervised conscripts doing the wet work.
I miss eating pizzas, kebabs, chips and drinking energy drinks, sodas without a care for the world.
I haven't done military stuff but I know what you mean. I was doing a heavy lifting labor job for 3 months straight. During that I ate a lot of shit but because my job was so physically demanding I was actually getting into shape. then 5 months of being unemployed and lazy takes a really bad toll. But now I'm working again and starting to go for runs.
It's also the reason why most meals in the army are potatos and meat, because you need carbs and protein. The army doesn't work unless you have muscle mass, you can't be a twig.

You aren't going to be able to DIG THAT TRENCH little Timmy during RECORD HEAT in the SCORCHING HOT SUMMER because you didn't eat your taties and meat!
I appreciate the thought Noofa but I still intend to see those plans through, no matter what. I've been wanting to do this for years so I'm not exactly gonna give up now when I'm so close to reaching my goal.
With the risk of sounding like that one edgy teen from 6th grade, I've been through shit already that have just made me stronger.
I am ready for the challenge and I am aware of all the risks that comes with it.
This is what I want to do.
After reading all of this, especially what noofa is saying, I'm legit scared about conscription now. I do not know yet if I'm going to actively serve or not and here's hoping I really don't have to go through this shit.
Some people been telling me tho I probably won't need to serve, because of asthma, nearsightedness and apparently there are way too many active soldiers right now, but I still can't tell.
gtanoofa is cool
Jesus fuck, I was at the metro this morning and that explosion was fucked up, I legitimately was fucking scared to die.
Like dude, no offence but your self esteem is really low and people in the military are like vultures when they spot a person that they may consider weak. Just ask Jenkins, Rusty and Bloo they'll tell you the same. You are an okay person and don't aim to hurt people, but that's not what people look up to quite honestly. Like dude, i was suicidal before i went to the military and it got a lot worse through out my time because i was the "weak link" to some people's eyes. Thinking about it now i could have kicked some people's asses, but i was afraid that i would get reported and have my clean criminal record fucked up because some cunt would rat me out to my superiors and i'd have to go through court martial.
It's not like school where you can kick someone's ass and everything is fine dude, there is cliques that will justify their mate's actions because of the dude bro mentality. It's the wild west inside and you seem very naive to be joining any military organization, unless you go for a pog occupation.
Like if i find any of the assholes that i encountered in the military i am afraid i'll lose my patience and strangle them or something. And that's only scratching the suface dude, superiors are assholes who abuse their power and your willingness to follow orders to have their ass covered and you have to spend 95% of the time doing the lamest bullshit you can ever imagine.

And this is coming from a person who's been on both sides of bullying.
I appreciate the thought but I can tell you don't know me at all. On the contrary, I'm far from being a weak link. Some of you guys might disagree but you need to keep in mind you have no clue how I am in person, all you see is words.
[sp]Hell, if I'd ask any of you describe how you might think I am IRL I can bet a hundred kronor that 9 out of 10 of you would be wrong.[/sp]
And Noofa, keep in mind Sweden doesn't have conscription. Everyone who's in the SAF are there because they want to be and while I'm aware there is bullying and hazing from time to time in all military forces the statistics within the SAF are exceedingly low, having dropped alongside the mandatory military service.
Like I said, don't worry. I know what I am doing. I've done my research. I know the risks.
Also really sorry to hear that Noofa, if a person call themselves your friend they should never betray your trust like that.
SAF are full of other weenies anyway

worst army 99% kebab now probably.
No kebab unless they have citizenship which, thanks to our well-organized office of immigration, barely anyone have.
no obstructing mental issues
see why i was pretty much rejected from the army
I feel like joining the military could really straighten my life out, but I'm unfit, I have the physique of a hungry skeleton, and I don't think I'm mentally cut out for it.
I'm not even talking about combat, just the mental stress and pressure that it seems to involve.
hit the gym or something, go running and try a better diet. If you start to get into a better shape you will probably have a better mentality about it too
The rear echelon guys in COH2 wear those brown greatcoats the yankees had in the Ardennes.
The mesh and textures aren't too bad honestly, although they could use some sproosing up that's for sure;
Why not take the german greatcoat from Enemy Front, and slap some brown wool texture on it ?
I was a cocky smart ass when I joined, had fun in the military initially. It's just what I saw during my deployment to Iraq and how nobody gives a shit about others (both our side and theirs) that destroyed my moral, motivation, etc. it affected me a lot and it still does today.
Does anyone still play Titanfall?
Because I wanna play with someone.
I want to join the service, but I'm unfit for service.
I don't even know what I want to do with my life at this point, and I felt like joining the service would really help straighten me out and help me unfuck my attitude towards life.

I'd join you if the game didn't take up an extreme amount of gigs.

I'm down for it this weekend.
