For example the early 2000 us soldiers only had a Woodland camo Mopp suit even though they were in the desert... The british army only really has Desert DPM and Woodland DPM Mopp suits with the odd MTP... So I was kinda going for that look. Who's to say that undisclosed mission ain't meant for VDI?

Well if you're implying that you're sneaking into one of VDI's bases then I doubt their security is so lax that you could just stroll in through the back door unnoticed.

Nah, the base and the mission aren't related. I'm going with that base just being some condemned Russian facility.
