Are you perhaps moving through Siwa Egypt? Or a different Siwa?
It is Siwa in Egypt.
It is Siwa in Egypt.
Alrighty. Are my models working for you by any chance? I'm not sure if my ground forces are in the pack, I know my vehicles, pilot, and SF guys are, but I dunno about my normal troops.

Ok, The deadline for the raffle of Havoc International has arrived. And this time, we have a winner! The winner is Amekhail! Congratulations and we look forward to seeing our new participant in the future!

My Faction: Havoc International We are a neutral faction. The current leader of the faction is classified, as is the history of the faction. The High ranking officers are planing on publishing some information to the public soon. They entered Egypt about 5 hours ago. They are planning on making their way to Ismailia, a city that is right by the Suez canal, and then to Alexandria.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/OwlrkwT.jpg[/T] (sorry for the crappy posing, i was in a bit of a rush and i wanted to get this out as soon as i can.)
the way hes going that osprey is going to crash into the skyscraper any minute
Yeah, I just saw that now. Thanks for pointing that out. I will make sure there is out of the ordinary next time

If you know it's shit, take the time to make it better. No one's going to take you seriously if you post a bunch of half-assed work.
-huge obnoxious white boxes-
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3343483/espw/map/nonweb/blackphoenixcorp.png[/t] Stop using that .jpg because you've got those ugly white squares all over ALL of your models. It looks terrible.

It looks terrible.
I personally like them. I wanted to try and make it look like a white flag with the Phoenix over it, so that's why it's a white square. I will however, do to popular request, be working on redo'n the modes and hexing them myself. So if all goes to plan and if I can figure how to hex, BPC will have better patches and logo's, as well as various new uniforms and perhaps even a different set of models.
I don't understand why everyone's models have to look good by everyone else's standards rather than the guy who made them. If the guy wants to have those big white patches on his models, then so be it. He doesn't have to change a thing to make you people happy.
I feel like it's a good idea to try and encourage quality standards in people's skins and models (key word being 'encourage', not 'enforce'.) and to try and help suggest things to make them better, but it's a little rude to just outright say 'that looks terrible, change it'.

You ought to put like a black border around the logo so it looks like a flag patch. Here's an example: [t]http://www.evike.com/images/large/Patch_Flag_Germany_lg.jpg[/t] Notice how there's a border around it? Also, you might wanna shrink it a bit because it looks a bit too big for a patch.

The white layer completely overrides the entire texture to the point it looks like a cartoon or something because there's no detail left.
You need to make those logos partially transparent and crop out some of that white box because right now it looks like you used MSPaint and pasted it over.

I made a transparent version of your BPC logo and put it on the wikia; that white border really needs to go.
If you want to make it look good, you can take the layer with the logo, set it to "Multiply" as the layer effect, and then copy the layer, make the copy pure white, then set the white layer as an "Overlay" effect and that should make it look better. It works for the majority of models, but sometimes you need to change the layer effect in order to get the desired effect depending on the backing layers.

I didn't mean for the above to turn into a flame war, and I am currently working on redo'n my models. I really do appreciate all of your guy's tips and pointers, and one of the bigger reasons why I haven't changed my models is because I am very limited on what I can because I'm inexperienced and I don't know how to hex, so it provides a problem for getting my models out to all of you so you guys can fuck my models up as well, no matter how good or bad they look. I apologize for my lack of skills and I'm currently trying to improve. Sorry the above kind of got heated for a few seconds, was not my intention, and again thank you all for the tips and pointers it really does help.

I don't like all these factions suddenly taking such an interest in Africa. You make me nervous, and I might do something CRAZY.
You're on the other end of the continent, though. In a completely different country.
Doesn't mean they won't start driving south at some point. Hey also sorry if I've been sounding like an asshole in a lot of the PM's I've been sending you, I assumed you were just ignoring me on purpose or something.
The Xin Syndicate has relocated their base in Japan after they abandoned the last one, moving further away from cities to try and hide more efficiently. They have also been employing/recruiting the help of elite contractors, who will assist in high risk actions as well as provide protection to the Syndicate as a whole. This photo was taken of a small squad of elites gearing up.
[img_thumb]http://orig07.deviantart.net/527f/f/2015/239/b/c/ttt_manufactory0002_by_kokyal0rd-d97f65h.png[/img_thumb] Alongside these guys i've also had an idea for a little gimmick to try out with this faction, but I couldn't find the right model for it to work so I abandoned it.
I don't like all these factions suddenly taking such an interest in Africa. (Deir ez-Zor, Syria) AWA militants, being prepared for any counter-attacks in the city, would begin to push back ODQ forces within the city's outskirts. The insurgent forces take cover behind barriers, sandbags, and any other useful cover surrounding the firefight, seeming more prepared and competent in combat than they previously were months ago. Meanwhile, a High Ranking militant and Guardians prepare to abandon a hideout in fear of being captured or killed. For safety measures, the building is rigged with timed-explosives that are set to go off in case any opposing forces intend to retrieve vital information abandoned inside the compound. Ladies and gentlemen, in this corner, hailing out of Northeastern Syria, and part of Northwestern Iraq, I give you: The Movement for a Unified Kurdish People (الحركة من أجل الشعب الكردي الموحد) They're a group comprised of Kurdish peoples from various parts of the middle east, Turkey and Armenia, who have flocked to the area around northeastern Syria and northwestern Iraq. They have used the turmoil stirred up by the appearance of AWA to attempt to form an autonomous state, though they have yet to be recognized by any established nations. AWA's push into Iraq brings them through Kurdish lands, and now the MUKP will fight tooth and nail to throw them out, and will do the same to any other outsiders who threaten the dream of a united Kurdistan. (although for now they'll gladly accept assistance fighting AWA.)
AWA forces push into Iraq from the north, taking them through Kurdish territory. As they near Sinjar, advance units suddenly come under heavy fire. Most of the militants are killed, but not before managing to inflict casualties on the Kurdish forces.

After the firefight, the Kurdish troops bring a captured AWA fighter with them, and as a twisted form of mockery directed at them, they use one of their most favored methods of intimidation: the execution video.

*The video comes into focus. Two Kurdish soldiers are seen stringing up a captive to be hung. The one seemingly in charge places his foot on the bucket the captive is perched on, then removes his helmet and turns toward the camera.* Kurdish Soldier: This is a message to the so-called "Anointed Warriors of Allah": You are not welcome in our lands. We have seen what you do to your own people, and we know that you bring nothing but death and destruction with you. You have slaughtered many of our Kurdish brothers in your country, and now we shall return the favor. If you leave our lands in peace, we will not pursue you, and that will be the end of this. However, should you choose to remain, then you can consider yourselves at war with the people of Kurdistan. *the soldier kicks the bucket out from underneath the captive; the camera stays focused on him throughout as he twitches and struggles for a few minutes before finally ceasing his thrashing and hanging there limply by the noose around his neck. The video then ends.*
Kurds are beast. Also I didn't really want to use the generic baddies and South American guys again, but when I looked up images of actual Kurdish militia those guys are the closest thing in Gmod to looking like them. Again, Kurds are beastly.
