A team of BPC Commando's rushed through the streets of Imtan trying to complete an objective before an oncoming sandstorm hit the settlement. Due to heavy AWA resistance, the Commando team was forced to engage the hostiles in their current vacinity.
Note* As you guys can see, my hexing and remodeling work is going well.
Fearing that a conflict may occur due to the amount of factions moving into Egypt, Leviathan dispatches a sizable force of its African Legion to defend the Suez Canal. If any harm were to come to the canal, trade in the region would be greatly affected and economies in both the middle east and Africa would take serious dives.

At the same time, Leviathan begins the process of dealing with the captured Voight forces in Sierra Leone. Since the withdrawal of the bulk of Voight's forces, those who surrendered willingly were no long considered enemy combatants, and have been treated well since arriving at the internment camps. I highly doubt the Egyptians would hand over the responsibility of defending perhaps the Middle East's most important water route to anyone but themselves.
I highly doubt the Egyptians would hand over the responsibility of defending perhaps the Middle East's most important water route to anyone but themselves.
Maybe if their army was occupied elsewhere fighting the hostile factions, but even in that case they would still leave some reservists and nearby Coast Guard and local police units. To sum it up,assigning protection of their most valued economic waterway to a PMC company would be absurd.
True, but considering that they're sitting in a spot where there's constant fighting going on around them and even within their own country (AWA to the North, also Israel because those wacky Jews and Arabs, constant shit in Sierra Leone to the South, and also you've got Hamas being faggots within their own borders) and now all these foreign factions coming in literally out of nowhere, it doesn't seem too far fetched to ask for a little help. Especially considering their own military would be absolutely no match for a bunch of PMCs with the assets of most world superpowers. And I know, in the real world Egypt would be too proud to ask anyone for help even if they were getting their asses pounded into the dirt, but hey, it's just a game ain't it? Also they're all scenebuilds by the way.

Well, when you put it that way,i guess you´re right. And why Israel? They have good diplomatic relations.

7. NPC factions can be interacted with, but not controlled. You can fight them, but not deploy them. 7b. You cannot fight just NPC factions only. 7c. You cannot ally NPC Factions. You basically Allied and controlled them lol.
This is at least the second time you've broken that rule, since you did it earlier in Russia.
I wasn't aware that accepting contracts from nations was considered controlling an NPC. When everyone talks about NPC factions I assume it applies only to countries that are actively fielding militaries in the thread like Syria or Japan. And yeah I realize I broke that no allying rule in Ukraine, that's why I pulled my forces out right after Hanover to rectify that.

What makes this more glaring is that you know they wouldn't do that in real life. So why would they bend over backwards and give you priority 1 over what is essentially Europe's/Middle East's own Panama Canal?
This thread doesn't exactly run on real world logic. If you wanna use that kind of rationale then why would Japan essentially turn over control of the entirety of their islands to a PMC? Again, it's just a game. I'm not SEIZING the canal for my own use, just guarding it. It's still under Egyptian jurisdiction.

And at least, the person who did that in Japan had the decency to ask permission from me first before he did something which was iffy with the rules.

(Syrian Offensive: Imtan, Syria) Insurgent forces immediately hide in abandoned buildings as the sandstorm begins to hit the settlement. However, this doesn't particularly stop the conflict between AWA and BPC infantry, for the militants now have a better tactical advantage. Black Pheonix soldiers are left vulnerable to not only the storm as they most likely reside outside, but are also left vulnerable to insurgents that poke their heads out and aim their rifles from hiding spots, ready to shoot anything that moves. The sandstorm however gets progressively worse, the longer an insurgent keeps his eyes trained on his ironsight, the more painful it gets as sand strains their eyes. This plays a big role that effects a sniper's concentration, for now the militants remain quiet and vigilant and wait for any unfortunate soldier to show themselves... There, I retconned my earlier post so we went to Egypt of our own accord instead of being contracted by the government.

For the record, it's not broken. I've just been swamped with busywork as of late and i've forgotten to update it.
