Haha, I love how you including the Osprey carrying the MRAP in this comic. "Minor Setback". Nice work.
(Syrian Offensive: Imtan, Syria)
The day after the heavy sandstorm struck Imtan, it finally begins to pass through the settlement but as a result, leaves dust and sand that slowly fades away during the rest of the day. Militants occupying the settlement seem to feel as if they're winning the battle, as one militant would apparently grab a megaphone and chants an islamic battle cry that echoes loudly throughout the town and motivates other insurgents, even despite the many losses they've faced in the passed week. The voice on the megaphone waits every 5-10 minutes to repeat his chanting...
While this appears to be motivational for the militants, it would only act as an ominous and intimidating message towards Black Pheonix soldiers that are scattered across the area, they would simply hear a faint voice slowly but loudly echo across the settlement.
Militant w/ Megaphone: ALLLLAAAAAAAHHHHU AKBAAAAAAAR....
And with the motivation carrying over to militants, Snipers would begin to take up their positions once more and proceed to look for any enemy stragglers on the streets, and on the rooftops. The militants remain strong, and confident but still reside in hidden locations before any raid or search parties are unleashed into the ruins...

The whole sandstorm situation reminds me of the big sandstorm that hit Saudi Arabia conveniently when Tbone, Jenkins and I were fighting there. Except this sandstorm isn't just an excuse for all of us not to do anything.

Ironically, I was just messing with the fog effect and was like, "Sure, Sandstorm." Pure chance.

(Iraqi Offensive: Sinjar, Iraq)
AWA militants and Kurdish militant forces fight throughout the rest of the night. Fast forward into the morning, AWA militants managed to successfully capture an outpost that Kurdish forces were once holding. The insurgents pushed forward once a tank arrived at the scene, it took them hours to finally commandeer the outpost. Once they approached the outpost, militants would immediately begin looting the corpses for any ammunition, weapons, and even stole an APC, ultimately forming their own FOB.

Now with the support from two armored vehicles, AWA militants would begin suppressing the Kurd's next line of defense. An estimate of 400 insurgents would be fighting in this Offensive.
The morning after the Sandstorm cleared in Imtan, BPC forces commenced a mad exodus of their troops, mounting high casualties as they fled the city to a staging area just beyond the outskirts of the settlement.

BPC Fast Movers then proceeded to bomb the city for the next hour or so, mounting casualties for the AWA into the higher numbers and tearing large holes in buildings and the streets of the settlement, making the warzone even more treacherous and beaten down than before.

Day two of fighting for entrance into the Sinjar mountains begins with a mass AWA advance on the Kurds' main line of defense. They must stop them at this pass into the mountains or else the insurgents will have free reign in the heart of the Kurdish homeland. The Kurds know this, and made sure to choose an area that would be difficult for enemy vehicles to maneuver in, and would have many natural chokepoints to force enemy infantry into killzones for easy pickings.

That'd be really kickass if we could like act out Esp wars battles in Arma somehow
Well... you can say I'm kinda doing that atm. Those reskins aren't just for the looks.
Espionage Wars in RTS form when?
How would it be possible to set up changing relations between factions? There are 3 categories only: BLUFOR, OPFOR and INDFOR. Unless you can somehow add factions to the game and set up relations manually... Then you'd have to edit it again when somebody allies with somebody else.
Don't want to be a party shitter, just sayin'.
It's p easy, unless you want serveral faction fighting in the same battle.
If you got two squads of blufor, spawn a opfor/independent soldier, drag his probability meter to 0% and make him the squad leader of one of the squads. Then that said squad will act as opfor/independent battle the blufor.
Doing esp wars battle in arma would be funny, but theres just no way that is ever going to implemented. Esp Wars doesnt chose the victor by his skills in a pew pew game. Of course if two people both have arma and want to duke out their battles in arma, then sure cause it'd be between those two.
It's just not going to work for the whole thread.

Actually they "fixed" that some time ago. Now you have to make do with giving OPFOR/INDEP other uniforms, or configing an entirely new faction on that side.

I still use the probability and squad leader thing, still works for me. You gotta make sure you drag from the squad lead though, not the other way around.
Also have some content.
Nearly Immediately after the BPC bombing runs had ceased, BPC ground forces stormed the Settlement of Imtan, rushing to use the shock from the bombings to their advantage and keep the A.W.A. off balance. Storming the Settlement with heavy armor and several platoons of troops, BPC is pushing for control over Imtan. In addition to sustaining heavy casualties, BPC's charge is relentless as they try to finally seize the Settlement and push AWA from it once and for all.
Those vehicles are WAY too close together. One well-placed IED and that whole convoy is going to grind to a dead halt.
Maybe his guys don't know that, maybe they're not all that well trained in that short of shit. Either way let that kind of shit be a lesson to be taught to him by an enemy player.

I know that, and my guys understand that. But as I stated, BPC's pouring troops into the settlement with little thought to proper formation or tactics. They're carving several paths through the settlement with brute force and as stated, are taking heavy casualties due to the fact that they're just pushing the AWA back with everything and everyone they have.

Swarming the complex, their objective is to create a build-up of thermal energy which will surely destroy the plant, leaving many in Moscow without power. Any plant staff are expendable.

Moscow Times: "Thermal Power Plant 27 came under siege by terrorists earlier today in what appears to be an attempt to demolish the facility. This power plant supplies electricity and heating to many parts of Moscow. If the terrorists succeed, it may be a cold winter for us all. The terrorists, seemingly led by a man wearing a shahada headband, have not made any demands or have indicated any reason why it is they are doing this; however, it is speculated that since he is wearing the shahada, it may be due to the growing unrest in Chechnya with many muslim extremist groups wanting to free Chechnya from Russia."

Moscow Times: "It is currently unknown how many are dead, or if there are any hostages, but hopefully this situation will be put down before the power plant is destroyed. The Ground Forces have been deployed, setting up a perimeter around the plant in order to prevent the escape of these terrorists as high command plans on what to do in this situation."
Looks like Moscow will be the next potential flash-point for all this.
One question is this: Is Tbonia ready for something like this?
No
