The admin ability allowed me to turn on a Wikia-map thing. It's not as versatile as the Google Map, but it has the ability to mark things down and anyone can edit this one. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] This is why I don't use automerge. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline]
-img-
Updated. Please note that if the pages anywhere are outdated, press CTRL+F5 to force refresh the page. It might be cached in your web history so you would need to refresh it. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] I think it should be working now, the content area is 1240 pixels wide, and each potrait is x200y200 so that comes out to a max of 1840 pixels wide, so if there's any clipping, we're going to have to just roll with it because it's not going to be easy to make it work to everyone's resolutions because of how wildly varying they are. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] I accidentally the info boxes. They should all be fixed now. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] If I missed anyone, let me know if you don't know how to fix it yourself. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] I went through every faction, inactive or not and double checked to see which boxes were broken and fixed all that I saw. I think I nailed them all, but it's possible I missed one. [editline]24th November 2015[/editline] Getting emailed every single time anyone does anything on the wiki is pretty useful, in some sick controlling way. I feel like Big Brother.
That motto is perfect [editline]24th November 2015[/editline]
As multiple warships arrive in Greenland, Elios has sent their Baltimore-Class Heavy Cruiser and Queen Elizabeth-Class Battleship to make sure if Greenland is indeed attacked, they can possibly defend the land.
If anything, ISA and Elios are the attackers by coming to a territory that has been under GSAF lock and key for many years, two PMC factions sending ships from actual navies
I wouldn't say it's under 'lock and key', exactly. That makes it sound like they're an occupation force. The GSAF patrols in the area to ensure the security of their interests and they conduct training in the wilderness there from time to time. They have little to no contact with the population of Greenland and don't really interfere with the country in any way besides just being there.
Guys, I know you love your ships and all that, but can we please be a bit reasonable about how you guys even get them? I don't wanna tell you people "you can't do the sea thing for the sea mens" but getting away with a a God damned aircraft carrier is enough as it is. Please don't start pulling out some real resource-heavy vehicles/equipment/stuff just because you can. A small PMC outfit suddenly owning two battleships just cause they can is incredibly silly.
I suggest a new rule:
Don't pull massive military assets out of nowhere. If you decide your faction owns or operates any significantly sized military assets that would be difficult to keep secret, such as aircraft carriers, battleships, giant mecha, massive mobile fortresses, etc, you must at least allude to if not outright declare that your faction is constructing it prior to deployment. Obviously Espionage Wars is not going to last as long as it would take for anything like an aircraft carrier to be constructed, so a delay of only a few days to a week is needed prior to the asset's deployment or usage.
We could have a courtesy period if the rule gets accepted where every faction declares what they've got, even if they've never used it and just think they'd like to use something like a battleship or carrier in future. Then everything after the courtesy period has to be done the way the rule suggests, where you have to announce you're building something before you can use it. We could keep a list of things owned by each faction on the wiki for easy reference, but that might be hard to keep updated.
I have misread the entire situation and I apologize, I thought the ISA was here to assist Elios
By the way, where is everyone getting these ship models from?
Fort's ships were from Nuclear Dawn, but I don't know where Frost's came from. My carrier is from some shitty flight sim and the escorts I'm working on are from another boat game.
My ships are basically skybox props from Civilization and Frost got his from a big World of Warships pack some guys were making
REAL men build their ships in HAMMER.
REAL men build their ships in HAMMER.
been there, done that. Sometimes, I miss mapping. Most of the time I don't.
In all honesty I hate doing anything except mapping, but there's so many ideas I have and no one else is going to do them.
Today, Titan solutions has begun packing up from Ammassalik and has begun a slow trek over to the other side of the large island, to Nuuk, Titan Solutions officials stating the reason for this being to set up an offshore drilling rig, but the builing is said to take a while, along with the trek itself.
I think you guys forget that this isn't an invasion. The point of this was to have a FOB located far away from all the base spammed countries.
I put the suggested rule in a section since it's pending community or FT vote Once FT says it's set in stone, I'll move it in to the main list. I vote for it because it makes sense, but it's really all up to FT since he gets final say. Also, do not be alarmed if I edit the info boxes, I'm trying to make them have the coloured title bars and such that the old ones had. I'm not an HTML coder so I'm having to guesscheck a lot of it. I tried to move all the info borks to the same one so once we get the feature coded in, you guys will all be able to use it without any major editing. I'm just trying to make it so you guys don't have to put hours and hours into fixing things.
That's a pretty good name for the rule
How's this look for the Hanover incident? Also, if someone who was around them could fill this out, because I don't have pics, data, etc
Looks p good
It's looking good in my opinion.
Siege of Odessa needs a Liberation of Odessa too, once WR made it their proving ground the SSR and Tbonia(along with separatists who went AWOL from Tbonia) drove WR into a circle and forced them to surrender or face destruction. After months of WR POW labour, the city was rebuilt and decontaminated by Tbonian and SSR forces [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] Ukraine was the largest conflict in Esp Wars, give me a few hours and I can probably have everything covered in a neat bundle or consult the timeline Kali made [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] http://espionage-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Timelines_-_Odessa_2012-2014
I really need to get around to making my wikia page.
I really need to get around to making my wikia page.
You mean this one you told me to make months ago?
Also, just so you guys know, all of the stuff I have was pre-built. My faction has been active since the sixties in lore, so I believe that's enough time for the things I own.
You mean this one you told me to make months ago?
I mean like putting all the info and stuff on it. I keep putting it off saying I'll do it later :v:

Does the USN even export those? Let alone the plans for them given they're nuclear powered. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] I mean call me crazy but that seems like a massive OPSEC breach. Kali's ships are more believable because they're decommissioned Commie ships but having access to one of the USN's primary modern assets just seems unbelievable, even for a fictional universe.
Still, I mean at this point I may as well be playing devil's advocate, but it just seems silly to me that a PMC outfit would have two of something not even most developed nations have.
Not to mention you'd need over a thousand people just to run a single battle ship.
I was under the impression we had already established cloning as a viable system in the real world with that sheep though.
