I'm 1st AD, 3rd ABCT, 2nd Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment.
And I got lucky/unlucky depending on how you look at it. 1st AD was set to deploy while I was in Basic, and when I got to them, they threw all of us from my graduating class onto the roster to deploy so, good stuff.

I finally figured something out that I should've figured out a long time ago. I realize that me breaking the rules wasn't so much what pissed everyone off, but rather the way I responded after by trying to deflect the blame onto everyone else instead of owning up to it and learning from my mistakes. I kept acting like everyone else was causing the problem rather than me and refused to believe that I was just being a stubborn, uncompromising prick.
