There's not a lot of non-ww2 ship models around in general, though. You can't port things if they don't exist in the first place. My carrier came from some flight simulator and the quality really makes that obvious.
It'd also be nice if there were more good sea maps and if posing naval scenes wasn't such a pain in the ass.
Tell me about it. I'm currently trying to port the ship models from Red Alert: A Path Beyond. I have them scaled up to 120 times their size and they STILL aren't big enough.
its funny to me that you bitch about not being taken seriously when you post shit like that
My factions using stuff that's just lying around. Like civilian cars It looks silly I know but I don't see why that gives reason to just disregard my faction's existence. I'm not doing the shit I used to by having my dudes driving segways and go-carts. I thought crappy beater-cars seemed really realistic for Detroit.
Quality funding.
And I know this was a joke but it is also what I'm going for. My faction has enough funding for gear and basic-bitch weapons but not tanks and heli's. They're supposed to be between being rent-a-cops and PMC's
Even rent-a-cops can afford their own vehicles.
If you can afford to kit your guys out like a SWAT team then you can probably spring for something like company SUVs or patrol cars at the least.
Nobody would want to hire a PMC that has to resort to stealing civilian vehicles for transportation

They also Own a Number of small villages around cape town, paying almost nothing due to their "talks" with residents of the towns. Keeping the towns as urban warfare training grounds for new recruits. Kraaivuur International gains a large amount of income through its "Contractor Experience" Program where businessmen and tourists can pay Thousands of American Dollars for a Day's worth of being driven around in a SUV and being taught to shoot. They have 2 main bases, Kraaisenes (Raven's Nest), a Oil Rig and Dry Dock in Cape Towns' Bay. (There are Actually 2 oil rigs in Cape Town) and Kraaisestok (Raven's Talon), an abandoned Military Base near the border with Zimbabwe.

Ordinary Kraaivuur Contractors mostly come from the SADF and the British Army, favoring FNFAL's and L85s, squad leaders have been known to carry weapons as old as the Sten SMG from World War 2. Due to extensive training in urban combat, Kraaivuur forces excel at combatting hostile forces in urban environments and due to their varied origins soldiers usually outperform most military forces in urban combat, although they are also suited to extremely close quarter combat and jungle/forest warfare.

Kraaivuur Special Forces are called "Scouts" after the Selous Scouts of the Rhodesian Army, these men mainly have Special Forces Training, most from the SADF Reeces, SBS, Australian and British SAS and American and former USSOCOM personnel. They wear Black Armour and Masks to inspire fear into the Enemy and due to their former training they are essential able to fit any role, Night Fighting, Boarding, Hostage Rescue, you name it they can probably do it.

As part of the ongoing Tbonian withdrawal from Moscow, Papilon Solutions contractors have begun departing from Sheremetyevo International, with helicopters bound for Western Europe and cargo planes intending to carry materiel straight back to South America.
A statement by OPSCOM Simon van der Linde was uploaded to the PMC's website, transcribed below.
"With the recent events in Moscow, Papilon's contract with Tbonia has completed it's course. We are now in the process of returning our men and equipment to facilities in Europe and here in South America, where they will undergo debriefing and take a well earned break. Our previously noted plans for an additional contract have, unfortunately, fallen through - but we will continue to stand ready should we be contracted again."

tl;dr Papilon leaves Tbonian Russia, FOB Moscow is dismantled, contract with Tbonia ends, Papilon returns to South America and Western Europe to await new contracts, other contract fell through, we'll see what happens from here on in

Patrols on Cyprus have stepped up following the Cypriot governments requests for additional security forces, with mounting concern over the present instability in Eastern Europe and Northern Germany. In response; SABRE International
has dispatched Panhard AML-245's to act as a deterrent against those with thoughts of a not so favorable nature. CEO Sir George Haines reiterated in a press conference "SABRE is committed to ensuring stability for Cyprus, it's
not as if I don't have interests there myself after all, and I'm sure we don't want to see this wonderful island tarnished by war, do we?", a comfort to all present; due in part to the number of violent or destructive acts in isolated areas
along the Turkish occupied territories in Cyprus.

SABRE International concludes the moving of Minor assets from its Munich offices to Cyrpus, intended to improve flexibility when securing not priority corporate assets. The Cyprus offices are now operational, and will be used for
co-ordination on Cyprus for the duration of its operational life. As for the Munich offices; at the behest of the German government, SABRE dispatches 6 teams of 2 men in to the Hanover Exclusion zones outskirts, in an effort to
determine the extent of background radiation. However, SABRE also takes the time whilst in the zone to examine the remains of fortifications, in the hoping of uncovering something valuable.

It might work better for this thread if it was just parts of those countries that decided to form an independent state, rather than the entire countries and their governments deciding to merge. That way, the countries can still exist and you're not violating the rule about controlling nations because the government in charge of your country would be entirely new and fictional.
Still, best to see what God Emperor FT has to say.
Stupid question; but is Flound Co still active?
Nope they're dead as fuck.
And they still had a contract with Tacticus Solutions for protection
In a Nicaraguan villa, Wolfpack Veselov leaders met with Queen Sombra of Guardia Sombra to discuss any deals or partnerships they could form in order for Wolfpack to have some localized funding for their revolution.

Wolfpack Veselov is the remnants of the former Tbonian Veselov Communist Regime, which was overthrown during the December 30th Revolution by Socialist Tbonian and Mordian Reich forces. But Communist Tbonia and Veselov Loyalists didn't just die off there, they fled to the far reaches of the world or form sects to support their ideal Tbonian government, some even resorting to violence against Socialist Tbonian forces or citizens.
It was then that the Tbonian KGB decided to enact 'Operation Rising Temperature', the unfreezing and reanimating of the late wife of Danil Veselov Sr, Aleksandra Veselov. They hoped by doing this, Aleksandra could use her power over the Veselov Loyalists to rejoin Tbonia and also bring in those wanted by the Tbonian Government.
Unfortunately, Aleksandra learned of what had become of her husband's nation and the nation she helped built, along with her son becoming a victim of it. On February 10th 2016, a deep cover Wolfpack Veselov unit broke her out of a Tbonian facility in the Ural mountains and extracted her via aircraft. After switching methods of transport several times, they managed to get her to her safe house in Central America where most of Wolfpack Veselov was awaiting her arrival. Amongst them was Former Tbonian Praetorian Guardsman Borya Ulyanov who was witness to the joint Tbonian-MR attack on the Presidential Palace and one of the few Loyalists to survive it.
Together the two formed Wolfpack Veselov to serve as the last hope for the Veselov Regime to be restored to Tbonia and to push the Socialist Disease out of the once great Communist Nation.
After a long hiatus and overwhelming urge to procrastinate on the internet just that little bit more, I've decided to come back with a slightly newer faction; Western Route's dead as shit.
Thus, with the most generic and uninspired names and images, not to mention generic infantrymen, I've come up with yet another dastardly, moustache-twirling criminal organization.

The Smokkelaars Alliansie
Formed from the ashes of long dead colonial ambitions of the European powers in Africa and the Indian subcontinent, and the various modern day continents' largely poverty-stricken inhabitants, the Smokkelaars Alliansie (english, Smugglers Alliance) has a long-standing history of foul play, back stabbing, extortion, murder, theft and smuggling. Fairly well-equipped, albeit with outdated equipment and vehicles like the Sterling SMG and M60 Patton tank respectively, the Alliansie makes up for what it lacks in both skill and equipment through manpower. As Mao himself stated; "Quantity has a quality all of its own."
With a very mixed cadre of men at it's disposal, ranging from former members of the South African police forced out of their home country for former Apartheid related offences that would now see them in the dock, to poor villagers pulled from the most impoverished locales in Zimbabwe by tantalizing promises of power and profit. The odd enterprising European and American gun for hire has been known to end up in their employ, but with the larger, more organized PMCs prevalent, such a large and relatively unorganized group rarely have the pleasure of their services for long. Leadership in the organisation is at best limited, with the various pockets and groupings having their own "leaders" to follow, though a few notable characters stand out.
For the most part, it's areas of influence are centred around Africa and India, with it's "headquarters" based in Zaire, South Africa, though it has dealings internationally in small pockets, notably around Europe, South America and the Caribbean, usually involving the sale of narcotics, firearms, vehicles and various other black market oddities, the likes of which would usually carry a hefty jail time were they revealed. The organisation does strive to maintain friendly relations with the various other international factions, though naturally likes to keep them at arms length for fear of riling them, especially when dealing with those factions armed with advanced technologies the likes of which the world has never seen, nor even dreamt of, and which would likely spell trouble for the organisation - at least until the next batch of recruits arrived.
