We'll if it's gonna be an issue I can amend my turf so it doesn't cut into yours.
If that map's accurate then Tbonia's new territory cuts into VDI's quite a bit, unless he checked it with Viper first. Also, who is "carthantilles" on the wiki?

Should really have gotten in on the action really.
Kind of funny Volf decides to make a Russian themed faction after complaining about people for doing just that in the past. Nothing wrong with it, just it's not exactly what I would've expected for him to do.

Besides it's more like a area of influence, focused around the souther and central areas of the mountains.

Also my "beef" wasn't with Russian factions, it was with factions that were practically the USSR in everything but name. I'm gonna try to go for a Mongolian theme more than a Russian theme for my guys.
Okay. To be honest... WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Before you shot your guns at me, let me speak first. after the whole Debacle, I reflected on myself to not do that S#!t ever again and got a copy of Gmod. and yes, it is legit so can we move on now without any problems, Yar?
With all the new factions, Tbonia's relocation, and Volf's new faction, it might be an idea to get Lucky to update the map. Also, it might be nice to have more people than just him with the ability to do that. Probably a bad idea to make it public, but having one or two more trustworthy people with editing privileges wouldn't hurt.

It was better when the wiki was a community effort instead of one guy having total control over everything. Also I looked at the map and there are 24 for instances of factions/happenings being located on Golf Courses, around the entire world. This isn't counting instances where factions are in sports stadiums (Trinity is in fenway park) but it's crazy how a lot of stuff was just chucked into a golf course without much effort.

just use the link thats in the picture.
just use the link thats in the picture.
The pose is bad. Just gonna say that.
The pose is bad. Just gonna say that.
Thats okay. i can improve more.
Try using some better models, the excessive shine on that one kind of spoils it. Gm_Flatgrass is okay for test poses, but don't use it all the time. You should take the photo from a bit further back and zoom in with the camera, and use references for people holding guns. He kind of isn't even holding it.
image is dead
I saw it by copy-pasting the url of the image into my address bar. Needless to say, it's... not good. I think it's best if I start with basic stance and posing instead of graphics, as I know many of us are running older systems here. First of all, the way he's holding his rifle is just bad. The grip isn't even in his hand, so I'm just gonna assume you tried to pose him as if he was left-handed. So anyway, it looks like he's trying to hold a foregrip, except there isn't one. He's not aiming down the sights like how one should when they are pointing a rifle at a target. His torso should be bent forward as that's also part of basic shooting stance. His legs look like they're leaning forward a little, so in reality he'd fall forward. If you want my advice, look at pictures of actual people in shooting stances, and try to imitate that as best as you can. Whenever you are posing someone, try visualizing yourself in that stance. If it feels uncomfortable, you're doing it wrong. Next is the camera and composition. I know you were just doing a test pose so I'll be very easy on this. But when you're taking a pic of your pose, never forget to zoom in because default HL2 camera FOV looks like a fish-eye lens. Sorry if it sounds like I'm tearing into you over this, but I am just pointing out what's wrong here and how you can do it better. We all started somewhere, so I know you can improve. [editline]25th April 2016[/editline] I have a challenge for you. Try to pose this stance as best as possible: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/51361672/Chemosh3.jpg[/t]

And another thing, please don't quote entire posts if they're large enough.
I'm not seeing any URL links or stuff like that - should I be? Also, in relation to the golf courses thing; wouldn't you say that's par for the course? please laugh

Feel free to recommend
I suggest using the ragdoll mover, makes posing way easier. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104575630
I kinda made this in a hurry. But. Feel free to recommend
That's another thing. I learned the hard way quantity isn't quality. Try and make enough time that you can sit down and pose with no rush. I know trying to get into espionage wars can be exciting and you want to put something out but you have to be patient with your poses.
I suggest using the ragdoll mover, makes posing way easier. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104575630
IMHO ragdoll mover should only be used for fine-tuning your pose once you got it down.
IMHO ragdoll mover should only be used for fine-tuning your pose once you got it down.
This too. I use it for basic posing then the physgun to make it look more realistic
