Before the bombs are detonated, AWA insurgents say their final prayers and good-byes to one-another; the voices of many militants chant the words "Allahu Akbar" in a loud echo... right before the bombs went off.

The last words of a News Reporter before the city of Inkhil was hit by a massive explosion. An estimate of more than 2,000 people were reported dead in the explosion, however an accurate body count currently remains unknown...

Also huge thanks to FT for editing the last pic! <3
One middle eastern parking lot coming right up
I would like another shot at OP, V2 and V3 was pretty fun and I cut my own time short for real life reasons. But I'm back now and I've got some pretty good ideas on how to spice things up a little too.
If I'm OP I'm going to have a system where rather than there being 1 OP or as I'd like to call them Game Masters (GM) I'm going to have a couple, probably about 4-5 counting the actual OP. With the OP being the guy who edits the thread and has somewhat of a final say, however no decisions will be made without the majority of GM's go ahead alongside what public opinion is (you lot).
The other game-masters alongside tossing in their opinions on thread matters and drama so the authoritative decision is less biased, people can send their questions to the other GM's about what's OK and not OK. And lastly what I'm most keen for is the other GM's will have control over NPC factions and will be encouraged to make NPC's more active and respond to more current events going on in the thread.
Also GM's will be voted in too so nobody can call circle jerk
I so fucking vote for Jenkins after that post.
Can I be one of the dude guys then? I try to be fair and logical but I'm also blunt and to the point when it comes to certain issues.
I second that, I'm not interested in becoming a possible OP but I feel like I could help out alot as one of the GMs.
(With me being one of the handful of EW veterans still active and all.)
When do we vote for the new OP?
He just said it'd be voted in, if jenkins even becomes op. You numpties.
I know, I'm just putting myself out there.
So.. FT's quitting?
Jenkins doesn't have to be voted in for that to take effect though. Hell, I could pull a Vince McMahon and establish that system right now. Either way I haven't even made the actual voting post yet and I already see a bunch of people getting all uppity just because Infab said he wanted to be an option. If you guys don't want him to be OP then just don't vote for whoever you don't want to be OP you fools.
So.. FT's quitting?
Maybe??
I'll throw my hat in too. I'll type up a proper sales pitch when I'm not at work.
actually semi-nevermind because now i've had the chance to read the thread, jenkins' idea isn't as terrible as someone made it sound. I'd still like to be a contender for a GM, though.
What about glorious comrade Tbone for OP?
Following the initial detonations in Inkhil, a large amount of the Smokkelaars force sent to Inkhil has been all but wiped out; either in the initial blast or the resulting radiation spike that left many staggering over the dead and dying in the city streets. Some smugglers, namely the ones nearest to the chemical suits and furthest away from the initial blast zone, are able to don the ramshackle NBC suits they had brough with them from Ash Shaddadi. Whilst effective in keeping out small doses, the lack of faith in their heavily improvised suits prevents many of the smugglers from retrieving the dead and wounded closer to the blast. Many are simply keen to stay away from the ruined city in Ash Shaddadi, with the official response from the Smokkelaars regional command to simply don hazmat suits when near Inkhil and to monitor for radiation spikes in Ash Shaddadi.

For the surviving Smokkelaars in the city, limited though they are, they are forced to take shelter in any still standing buildings, barricading themselves in and setting up outposts, likely faced with death from radiation poisoning, regardless of whether or not they possess one of the roughshod NBC suits. In a city of the dead, where AWA, Smokkelaars, WLA and others now lie side-by-side in a macabre stand of solidarity amongst one another, some claimed by the blast itself or even the after effects, others by sparse enemy action and even some by their own hand, the happy few left alive face a grim immediate future, with limited prospects of survival.
Kraaivuur International has declared that they will withdraw from the area around Gediminople (I'm sorry, I forgot you changed the name), in return for a prisoner exchange (including a pilot who was shot down in Baltian Airspace) and safe passage south to Belarus to join the Eastern Legion advancing North.

Cpt. Mager: Oh my.. It does look quite cold.. We don't really have anything we can give you, we are getting short on supplies here.. You know what, let's make a deal, alright?
Baltian Sergeant: Depends on what it is.. Fascist scum.
Cpt. Mager: I will release you and your troops but! Only if you promise me, to release Legion POWs from your prisons or whatever you call it.
Baltian Sergeant: Is that it? And you trust me to do it?
Cpt. Mager: Ofcourse I do, and I don't really have anything else to do with you. You will just starve or freeze to death, so it's worth a try.
Baltian Sergeant: Alright fascist, you got a deal..
Cpt. Mager: Good.. I'm sure they will release some of our men, my friend.

The Tunguskan economy has been in decline since the beginning of the uprising. The false promise of a fair trial for the dead rebels was the final straw for the common people. Many assembly line workers simply walk off the job and join the massive protests in the streets. Entire factories are shut down by massive strikes. Farmers in the countryside have begun hoarding all their produce to themselves. To compound matters even more, many foreign corporations have decided it is too risky to remain in Tunguska, and have been shutting down their offices and ceasing business with the Khanate. All of these factors have put the Khanate's economy in freefall. The Tunguskan ruble becomes worthless almost over night thanks to rampant inflation. Many banks shut down or join the strikes, with employees removing all the money from the vaults and burning it in the streets in protest.

With his country tearing itself apart from the inside, general Ganbaatar had gone into seclusion, only appearing every so often to issue new orders to the troops still loyal to him. After the execution of the rebels in Liberation Square, all support for the general had all but evaporated. The guards of the Imperial Palace decided to join their revolutionary brothers and seized the building, forcing the Khan to barricade himself in his office. By midday when the rebels finally breached his office, the general was found dead by his own hand. With no leader, the fate of Tunguska now hangs in the balance...
FEMA camp is luxurious compared to where we're all going.
Tunguska, Tbonia, Ukraine, Moscow. We've slandered the sleeping bear with our anti-Russian propaganda for too long.
We must turn ourselves in tovarish, for our families sakes. A dingy cell in the gulag is where we'll spend the rest of our days. the MVD is coming for us comrades, if you see this man bite your tongue and end your suffering now, you'll be saving yourself years of pain and torment.
