Decided to test Ryu-Gu's update on muzzle flashes and they are pretty good. Can definitely see these being put to good use.
Is that sarcasm? [SP]Because I'd still rather add them via a image manipulator program, since they would look way better than that[/SP]
post editing stuff like muzzleflare will always be better, but ingame ones can look alright in some cases [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/44650710/kurilshootgun.jpg[/t]
Yeah, but that looks like an oversized popcorn (the one in the other image, that one looks good)
Yeah, but that looks like an oversized popcorn (the one in the other image, that one looks good)
That's why I released the current set as a tester pack, so I could get some tips for improvement before I move on to the next part of the incendiary pack. :v:
Is that sarcasm? [SP]Because I'd still rather add them via a image manipulator program, since they would look way better than that[/SP]
It could still be useful for people who don't know how to add it in Gimp or whatever. (Like me.)
You'd be better off using the emitter tool because that muzzleflash prop looks like custard coming out of a super soaker
the model tests never end, i should do an actual scene sometime
Most excruciating pose attempt I have ever made fuck, I think it came out kinda decent.
It could still be useful for people who don't know how to add it in Gimp or whatever. (Like me.)
It doesn't helps that, despite the size of the muzzle flash, there is no additional lighting whatsoever. It makes it look very flat

Another "smelly" one btw i'm retarded and forgot to add post processing on the second one, so enjoy the "quality"
Most excruciating pose attempt I have ever made fuck, I think it came out kinda decent.
dont duplicate poses also, look up some color theory to spice up your stuff and the pose itself is a bit stiff, you need to loosen up the shoulders and elbows, and put their legs some more apart
snip
Not the usual kinda thing there, but I've just been going through some old dupes and wow. [t]http://i.imgur.com/NjRjqSI.jpg[/t] My tank history, 2008-present. (yeah, these are literally all the tanks I've ever built)
Can't come up with any ideas for lighting. Any suggestions?

It's actually an "omnitank" and these were big one time. It actually has two rows of BALLS instead of tracks and it could move in any direction. Like a poor man's hover tank. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZEhye6P.jpg[/t]
don't happen to have one with those fancy "real" tracks that Hunta came up with? the sort where the tracks were actually sets of long PHX blocks axis-constrained to wheels and the tank "walked" on them? i remember those being all the rage for a short while
pic Can't come up with any ideas for lighting. Any suggestions?
The guy falling, his gun seems like it's in a weird spot.
The guy falling, his gun seems like it's in a weird spot.
I think he was supposed to be shot.
Greetings again! Now I was working on something: ...It's not complete if you may notice the empty model biplane and somewhat crude editing. That is a place holder for an idea I am trying to hatch. I made a quick Imgur gallery with some explanations of some ideas I had, but I just want to know what sort of craft should I be trying to construct to fill in for the place holder. Gallery I need a better idea for another aircraft, I don't think what I've got for the second plane is decent... As for editing, I'm thinking of how I will need to try a different approach and break the image up by using green screens since the back drop is very active. The skybox could use a more higher resolution solution.
get that into the gmod wallpaper thread i think it would fit really well
I think he was supposed to be shot.
Yeah, and I didn't bother with any of the editing to make it more clear what was going on since I couldn't work out lighting that didn't look trash :/
