Walkthrough old DooM. Found a pretty good WAD from 1994 "Doomsday on UAC", which changes E1M8 map. And new map was pretty impressive, even better than everything what was created by ID.
Made a little wallpaper for myself while I was under effect from gorgeos combination of heavy, dark soundtrack and beautiful design of map.http://i.imgur.com/HjqiybJ.jpg?1
And pretty big and heavy original image:

please never ever use that half-dead doomguy model again. it looks like a twelve year old with goth makeup and wet hair.

Been M.I.A for a while because school got me by their grip, shoving tests and exams down my throat. Thankfully summer is around the corner and i can go back doing ignorant shit like i used to.
Your content makes me feel so inadequate, great stuff.
they look very clean for dead soldiers
I suppose they are, I'm shit at editing tho.

Damn, that's some sexy lighting. Got any tips for achieving lighting such as this?

Ignore the fact that the bodies are basically spotless - I'm still pretty new to this kind of stuff. Any feedback and tips would be greatly appreciated!
Avoid close ups to low resolution textures like that floor in the first pic.

(also, if you really are new to this and feel like experimenting with different themes - try and avoid military themes for your new poses, you might get squared off)
I was bored and didn't want to make something Espionage Wars related.
I call it "Oil Barons", just bought the new Mad Max film, think that has anything to do with it?

I'd say the bottom one is better actually, top is way too saturated. Could always correct it in post though.

Thanks, you know a way of color correcting it in GIMP? I'm still getting to grips with editing, I can only really do stuff like blood, muzzleflash, and cigarette smoke.
And I don't own a copy of photoshop.
Try getting PS instead(can't say how if I don't want to be banned :v: ), I worked with GIMP for 2 years and oh boy it was a huge mistake.

I'd like to help but I haven't touched GIMP in years, sorry.

Well, I'm going to work for one of mum's friends over the summer so I guess I could purchase it with the money I earn from that. But personally, GIMP's been pretty good to me over the years.
-snipped da pic-
Thats one good looking pose
try disabling all in game post processing before postering it

ok, what's with those weird lines where the shadows are?
Pic? Not spotting em
whats with the weird lighting artifact on the facemap
That's what I want to know.
Only saw em now (on mobile)
If youre working off the scene rendering guide - looks like you are - look for the shadow artifacts fix part (just before the rendering part), materialize your fog/sky editors or play with the projectedtexture filter command
ok, thankyou
i really like the way this turned out.

So, after sorting out shadow artifacts and playing around with lighting a little, here is the result of my previous posts.

The last time I made a pose in Gmod was like 2 or 3 years ago, thought I might try it again
here's the result

tried making the M4A1 look more late war-ish but it turned out a lil' shitty I think
Holy shit that looks good. Did you follow Vioxstar's rendering guide?
The staff-sergeant has seen some serious shit.

haha, no, I just did whatever :v:
how did you do that weapon strap on photoshop /gimp?
how did you do that weapon strap on photoshop /gimp?
I just textured one
I selected the area that was going to be the sling, filled it up with a color, then used layer effects and noise to make it look good
