Lads, I'm curious. Has anyone tried making a map with env_cubemaps every other bunch of units, make them all 512x512, build the scene in said maps and then build the cubemaps? Is it a thing?
Ofc, that would mean removing all the cubemaps with VIDE after building or keeping an empty bsp that you would just copy, but is it a viable way of adding proper reflections?

Some of the foliage is extremely bright, it has the same brightness levels of the sky

(also idk if this was important for you here or not, but you should use higher surface resolution for shadows, you can see they are a bit choppy)
The pillars look really sharp, doesn't blend well IMO.
Dude if you ever feel like releasing those props, we ALWAYS need more scenebuild props.
I just started modeling with blender like 3 days ago. I don't think they're very much high quality at this stage. Maybe if I manage to make them without flaws or errors then I'll release some in about a week.
Oh and I did apply a sharpen filter on the columns thinking it'd be cool, yea I guess they look more jaggy and out of place, I see it as well.

Alas, there's nothing to release. I cobbled these guys together out of various bits and bobs from other models.
You should list what models you used. I'm sure somebody with an interest in that sort of thing and the knowledge to do so might be able to actually make them a reality.

Play around with the focal lenght/fov even if it's gmod, try something lower to fill the screen with your character without distorting everything.
