imo, I'd say the posing for Harley is a little odd, maybe go for something a little more dynamic like this which would work for her character
Made an attempt, guess it's acceptable. Didn't translate very well, I think.

This school outing appears to have taken a wrong turn.

Also, how do I create the effect of still swamp water without using GM black reflective?

Image editing post pose, or use a water prop thingamajig from the SFM workshop. I think they're called "Moving Water Props" or something like that. But you can just use the pause command or something like that to disable the motion on the surface.
How do you do put heads with actual facial sliders on normally non-headed things, Luxuria? When I do it, I have to block out the neck area somehow e.e
one in the middle is indiscernible from real life

Not entirely sure I follow, man. For the record, the heads there (except for Irish) don't actually have sliders, but in reference to the neck; I usually try to work with models that have some form of neck coverage/protection so it makes my job easier. If it's connecting to more flesh (exposed upper chest etc.) then I'll either not bother, play with angles or try and cover it in Photoshop with spot healing.
with such a bright white wall there, some of the sunlight should reflect back at the soldier
pretty colors though
a quick one

Been trying out SFM recently and whipped up this, it is really basic but I am slowly working up.

Two monotonous, scrapped scenebuilds later and I actually managed to finish this.

I mean I hate it, but it got finished.
It looks great. Why do you hate it?
It looks great. Why do you hate it?
Felt like I spent too much time on a lacklustre return.
Lackluster? Come on, man. It looks great. The colors blend well, the blur is grooooovy and the scenebuild in the back is spot on.
I mean if you don't mind me saying, but you always look down on what you make, and that's just not good. You always say your poses and scenebuilds don't look good, but I can tell you that's a damn dirty lie. The only person who says that shit that it's bad is you. It's not mediocre until everyone else says it is.
[editline]25th August 2016[/editline]
This "everything I make is shit" mentality needs to stop because it's harmful and you're better than that.
Honestly for the most part it just seems attention seeking.
dont think hes attention seeking just think hes being slightly over humble

I don't understand this mentality, if you don't know, and think it's garbage, why post it in the first place? Why not load up again and give it another try? You obviously care about getting better since I've seen you ask for constructive feedback, and you can obviously do better telling by your other shots
This is why I'm saying there should be a rule against posting something and being like "Yeah it's garbage."
Tell you what, the background is really muddy and blurry. Tho i suspect you did it to hide the terrible texture quality and because you can only use 8 lamps in sfm.
You can have more than 8, you just can't have more than 8 with shadows enabled.
