;51959854']first of all that doesn't even look like one of my tanks, second of all if that is inspired by one of my tanks you did a pretty bad job.
Eh it looks like the tank that I just ammo racked. In a way, the two tanks share a lot of similarities. Although, I really like the bushes on your tank. It helped to disrupt the silhouette and cover up weak points. I had no idea where to shoot. The spaced armor really did me in too. I have spaced armor but it's quite different and not as intricate as yours. Both of our tanks have strong points and weak points, and one may or may not be objectively better at doing some things than others. I do think my tank looks sexier than yours though. The gun on this one is the most stable out of every other tank I've built. Yay! (EDIT: I'm sorry for stirring up drama again. Although I actually do like Bob's tank.)

Bob especially for taking the bait, and peta is not getting off for setting aforementioned bait.
The culmination of 2.5 years of ACF: This tubeframe... thing... Weighs a mere 600kg with a 300 hp v8 powerplant. Everything on this except the holo suspension and steering wheel I made myself. Spent a good 4 hours yesterday on that HUD. Apologizing in advance for massive picture size :\
Guten tag Kameraden! I managed to find more garba-I mean archived folders and I found a old video of an entire overview of that one town Cre8ive made solely out of doors. Ignore the weird editing, if you could call it that. Come to Scum Village, where the memes are fresh and the towers are getting bigger, that's because jesus christ is my n-Oh shit, nearly quoted a meme there. I do apologise.
Started working on this Marauder-esque thing again, maybe I'll actually finish this Soon™ [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/89349743863978898/9DE5A3BC6125E49A24F98699351818F79EA62C97/[/t] Fully loaded for combat situations, it weighs around 15 tons.
looks like it's a podracer for ants, just be careful not to be sucked into another podracer turbine :v:
The only viable way to build them in gmod is to build them to a smaller scale... they are ridiculously big and fast in the lore.

AAA with a big ol' 76mm SA It may have a pretty slow rate of fire for anti air purposes, but this is for removing 30T heavily armored E2 powered helicopters so some firepower is required. KV-2 has been added to the arsenal! Been losing a lot of steam lately, but I do plan to do German, American, and British tanks in a similar manner at some point(tm). Poor traverse range and speed, slow speed in general, and incredibly clunky. Quite tanky though, didn't mean for it to be. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/84846159840859693/D6BD979BC6660E120AE40CDD9A90294BD5AD6529/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/84846159840859811/793081D7F26A853A9807315AFC53BCA8AE55165F/[/t] Also, a meme.
Prof. P;51965787']I take it it's the mantlet?
No, the fact that the turret is empty with 1 wee box behind the gun and nothing else of importance. Not terrible on a light tank, but pretty terrible on upper classes
I'm guessing illegal retarardly armored micro tanks are the new meta?
they always have been. why do you think ground gas turbines exist? [editline]16th March 2017[/editline] Also, built a Mk II of my old Brutus 30 ton infantry tank. The Mk II lacks the ammo compartments and survivability of the Mk I, but has standoff/Anti-tank gun armor and better side protection. The Mk II will likely see multiple variants, definitely a 40mm AC one. 40AC kicks ass for anti-anything usage. [t]http://i.imgur.com/H9coxDE.jpg[/t] [editline]16th March 2017[/editline] also, ignore the mis-material'd roadwheel. twas the mat bug
Small slopey tank thing. Probably gonna scrap this and make a bigger version because the 75mm that it was intended to use was (much) bigger than expected. [t]http://i.imgur.com/LYu42xR.jpg[/t]
I'm studying, among all the other shit, gyroscopes for my license. So I decided to experiment a bit with them and managed to build a couple instruments that are used on planes. Attitude Indicator (ADI). [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/156903753882993269/F3C4D7C3F81D4934F676714B110DFD363B8776D2/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/156903753882992715/BC49D31FD027619491A75249235146A543661E10/[/t] And a lil simple Turn Indicator. It uses a rate gyro to detect the angular force on the vertical axis, so you can determine the correct turn radius. [t]http://puu.sh/uKxfx/a61a8ea70a.jpg[/t][t]http://puu.sh/uKxgp/16672b6bd1.jpg[/t] Whenever the instrument spins, the pointer moves towards the direction of turning, proportionally to the angular speed. The gimbal is restrained with a spring (hydraulic) to let it return to zero. I'm planning on making all the instruments that use a gyroscope. Next is a gyro compass. Possibly way smaller than these. PS: the wheel spins via applyTorque.
will most likely rebuild chassis, the thing has trouble getting moving with the immense rear wheels
What about putting a flywheel? Have you tried that? I've seen really old tractors have bigass flywheels.
What about putting a flywheel? Have you tried that? I've seen really old tractors have bigass flywheels.
It has a flywheel in the sense there's a cylinder around the center crank that weighs a good bit. it's really the gears, I need to reposition them so the thing isnt so leany. at full speed if I take a corner too hard I flip over. Smaller rear wheels could help a bit. something funny happens though. When I start with the larger gear, I have less speed but more torque. when I engage the smaller gear, I have more speed, at least a 10mph difference. I understand it fully, but acf has given me the mindset that bigger gear = more speed overall. and switching down from the small gear to the large slows the vehicle down. I totally get why this happens, but it just seems odd.
