Damn snazzy turret. And don't worry about its mobility, if the thing moves at all it's doing a far sight better than most of the real ones. Underpowered things, they were. IIRC they had 550HP or so for 44 tons, same engine the T-34 and KV-series had.

So.. uhhh... The tank is almost done. There's one issue that still remains, however.
It's hard to describe but the engines are insanely choppy all throughout the rev range.
They go from redline down to idle then up to redline then back down to idle again and again, and the suspension makes it fidget like a spinner if you double the autism, which is a lot of fidgeting.
Not only that, but when i turn, the entire tank just kinda anal prolapses and spins in circles. I hope that i can fix it, because its a damn sexy tank. I don't wanna make a new 30 tonner.

My only complaint is that with that arrangement the drive rods don't seem like they'd be able to move the wheels in a full rotation due to the crosshead bottoming out against the piston chamber.

Here's my 2 cents on the matter;
I think that doing a roof detail is ok for depression...
HOWEVER;
What I mean by this is that having a prop on the top that at most gives you 1 degree of depression, or is an armored piece of your tank that actually covers up a hole or something in the turret. Not to mention that the breech when firing should stay inside the detail.

Then again, is it detail if its armored enough to count as a cover?
Other than that I agree with iwan, no detail should allow you to do that.
