Guys, Would you make use of an addon that creates the wheels/suspension on your chassi, with a wire controller to adjust scale, size, sphere collision and various tweakings to suspension, etc ? This would be created with lua, so there's a lot of possibilities, including steering and damage properties, like functional tires. I was thinking on creating the addon but I'm not sure if you guys would prefer to use this or the good manual method we use nowadays.

Oh and actual tires with realistic grip based on physprop eg good grip on concrete, not so good on dirt or grass. Oh and on the fly tuning of suspension with realistic damping and maybe camber? [/QUOTE] Wheel/Gamepad support isn't planned, it's a suspension thing only, you select the chassi prop and the addon will do everything for you. Some things that can be included are the tire grip based on $surfaceprop material types, sphere collision, tweakable suspension settings, drift decals/smoke, tire damage, etc. There's so many things, I can even try to make something to simulate tire pressure and wear. Carefully examine the fender's shape and see what polygons and how many you could use to replicate. Then clip them accordingly. Keep in mind you can invert the holos by negatine one of the values in the holoScale. This way you can model the inner part too.

First thing I've ever made with functioning connecting rods and piston. Manages road speeds of ~50km/h with a train of three decently-sized passenger cars behind it, corners well and can readily start on a grade. Probably gonna say she's oil or gas-fired just for reasons of not wanting to add a coal bunker right now. It's nice taking a break from ACF, really.

Using solid axle suspension isn't very difficult and looks very nice on slower moving vehicles such as crawlers etc. It also handles well at most speeds.

VH is basically my main server and I have maybe seen you twice there. As I already said, we don't want to hear this shit because it became common. Its his virtual play ground and he is the boss of it. So he can remove anyone from it without a reason if he so desires. Instead of whining you could have added him and started a mature coversation to get the misubderstandings out of the way. If you already tried that, don't go out to a forum where gmod content is posred to blackmail him. Because we don't care. Everyone who goes there is just gonna go back right after sleep or work or school whatever because they all have diffrent experiences with VH. Its just unnecessary drama. Oh your worried about someone inspecting your car because you have that special simulated engine? Don't even fuckin use it then. If you can't HELP the fucking the community then why play at all? One of my good friends is a coder, and in his experience, some of the people he has added as a friend just asks him for code and nothing else, not even a conversation. Just generic things like, "CAN I HAVE THAT E2 PLS" I've officially given up on GMod and this community because SOME people want to have a monopoly over the other GMod builders and not help and maybe better the fucking community.

Gmod shouldn't feel like an arms race or politics game, if it does then maybe you should find a more chilled out server to call home (or start one if nothing out there fits you!). Staying in a place with those kind of attitudes in there is just going to make you unhappy - learned that the hard way years ago until I fell in with the old Gluttony servers. As long as there's an admin team that works to keep things fun and doesn't discriminate with newcomers then you're in a good place.
