On the outskirts of Ash Shaddadi, an odd deal takes place; Voytek contractors, working under assumed aliases, contact the Smokkelaars Alliansie and arrange for a delivery of an odd cargo; Syrian civilians, mostly ethnic Kurds. The Alliansie and Voytek negotiators that oversee the deal say very little to one another, with the deal taking place largely in silence. The prisoners are bundled from an M113 APC of the Alliansie into a waiting HEMTT truck and are driven away once the money is exchanged; though the smugglers involved are confused, they refrain from complaining thanks to the generous sum of money paid for a mere handful of civilians, especially ones generally frowned upon by the rest of the population.

Voytek Sicada operatives return from the succesful deal with the Smokkelaars Alliansie. Shoving one half of the civilians in to a container and then shipping them of to Russia. The rest are staying at an FOB.

The Allianise has moved Igor Vankov to a dilapidated apartment within Ash Shaddadi, where they continue a daily round of beatings and questioning into Tbonian air power and airframes whilst considering what to do with the wounded pilot in the long term; many in the Alliansie consider handing Vankov to the AWA once his usefulness has expired, happily foreseeing a potential execution video, though for now the wounded pilot remains alive, albeit in a bad way.

As the Khanate finally pulls itself from the pits civil war, the matter of the country's defense becomes a major topic. With a good chunk of their assets either destroyed, sold to their allies, or gone with the socialists, the Imperial Guard is in no shape to defend the country from a full-scale invasion. To address this, the Khanate has lowered the mandatory age of service from 18 to 16, and has stepped up its conscription drive. Rather than giving the men time to report for enlistment, the Imperial Guard sends a few officers to the person's home and carts them off whether they like it or not. Also to address the weaknesses of its severely under-strength military, the Guard has shifted the focus of its training from relying on overwhelming numbers to squad-level tactics, teaching each squad to function and make decisions on their own if the need arises.
[T]https://u.pomf.is/nrfbgj.jpg[/T]
With the sudden surge in terror attacks around the globe, the Khan has become concerned with the possibility of an attack on Tunguskan soil. To this end, Tunguska has closed off its borders to all but its allies, and has greatly increased security along the border. The Tunguskan military had never given any thought to anti-air defenses, and so outdated Soviet SAM launchers liberated from an abandoned military complex are dusted off and brought back into service.
Meanwhile, in Belarus

Since the last Legion troops withdrew from Baltian/Tunguskan occupied regions of Belarus, construction has been underway on a large wall to separate the new Tunguskan province of Nevelyki Dereva (or "Small Trees', so named because its forests are quaint compared to the great woods of Siberia) from the areas still under Legion control.
[T]https://u.pomf.is/qgubml.jpg[/T]
With the Imperial Guard unable to spare any extra troops to defend Nevelyki Dereva, it falls to the local commanders to raise a defense force. Fearing a draft would spark a backlash in their new province, Tunguskan recruiters begin to incentivize the locals with promises of health benefits, a free education once their term of service is over, and adventure. These volunteer units come to be known as "bilyy polkiv" ("White Regiments") due to their predominantly Caucasian composition.
[T]https://u.pomf.is/dewopl.jpg[/T]
In order to bolster the defense of Nevelyki Dereva, the Khanate turns to its allies for assistance. The Commonwealth has agreed to sell Tunguska its aging fleet of Leopard 1 tanks, as they are in the process of phasing them out with the more modern M1A1 Abrams. These are shipped to the troops in Belarus, and training with them begins immediately.

Many old villas left behind by the Grand Duchy of Lithuania are commandeered and turned into garrisons for the Tunguskan troops.
Before you ask why everything is in Ukrainian it's because the language of Tunguska is a dialect of Russian (this is intentional for the irony) and since I can't just make up an entire dialect of a language I can't speak then Ukrainian is the next best thing, as I imagine the two languages being very similar.
Today the WLA has expressed his demay for the terrorist attacks. ''The terrorist threat must to be eliminated, and the only way to do it is together'' were the words that the director said. He reported that they'll send J-7 fighters to bombard the AWA's refineries, oil silos or power plants to weaken their source of resources, WLA won't bombard cities because that would endanger the civilian population.
In response to the attacks in NYC, as well as the death of ally Tacticus Solutions' CEO Catherine Homestead, Trinity Corp has deployed troops to Syria to fight and crush extremist/terrorist forces once and for all. The force will be lead by Trinity Archangel 'Raphael', who was pulled from Detroit specifically for this task. According to Trinity CEO Silvia Dawson, the transformation of Detroit into a prison city has been postponed.
As the Tbonian air campaign continues, the BUK missile system comes into it's own, with at least five Tbonian MiGs downed by the aged but effective system, though the majority of other airframes appear to be out of range of the missiles. However, the limited amount of BUK missiles available to the Alliansie means that the launchers are used sparingly, leaving a gap in air defenses. Not only this, but for every MiG downed;

Smokkelaar Alliansie forces in Ash Shaddadi are moved in majority to the surrounding outskirts of the city, with the majority of armoured vehicles and hardened defensive positions, like MG nests and mortar emplacements, located near the main roads in and out of the city, though air defenses are located further into the city. The larger part of the Alliansie force form a rough circle around the city, making room also for their AWA allies, the latter driven by their characteristic ideological zeal that many smugglers lack, with a strong brand of coffin humour forming amongst the lower ranking Smokkelaars.
Hey, I am wanting to join and add in my own faction, although I do know I need to create my own unique models before hand. I have a faction all lined out but the problem is I do not know how to skin or create bodygroups for models, if someone could point me in the right direction so I could create some and join it would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to create your own models, it's just encouraged to have custom stuff to differ you from other peoples stuff. You can use models that already exists, though it's reccomended that you at least skin them if they're the same or close to other peoples stuff.
With most of the land in Siberia unfit for farming, Tunguska has long relied on its industrial sector to keep it afloat. Over the last few years, the Khanate has had a difficult time feeding its burgeoning population. The lack of land fit for development means that the only major population center in the Khanate is Tunguska City, as the amount of food required to sustain another city would be more than Tunguska could afford to import. To solve this problem of overcrowding and food shortages, Baltian and Tunguskan scientists have been working tirelessly to develop new methods to turn Tunguska into a fertile agricultural paradise. Baltia has much farmland, and is more than happy to impart its knowledge onto their Tunguskan allies.

In Ash Shaddadi an unexpected assasination rocks the Smokkelaars' confidence in the security the defenses around the city provide; the then current commander in the city, responsible for first envisaging the use of BUK missiles, is killed by an apparent Trinity assasin whilst on a routine walk from his quarters to an arms store, according to the only surviving Alliansie member there to witness the attack. Apparently, the ominous, not to mention murderous, figure was one of the feared Mk.3 Type 3 clones in use by Trinity, striking fear into many Smokkelaars about the capabilities of these skilled, albeit terrifying, clone soldiers. Many begin to speak in hushed whispers about the possibility of more assasinations to come, prompting a general beefing-up of security for the Alliansie commanders; leaving prisoners, like Vankov, relatively unguarded.
Frankly I'm in favor of more pulpy action movie stuff.
This thread takes itself too seriously sometimes.
Aye, it's nice to have a little bit of cheesy, Stallone-esque action pulled straight from a late '80s action flick.
But that's gotta be done in moderation, y'know?
Always better to keep things serious for the majority and lose itself a little in the minority.
