As the fighting continues in the deadlock on the outskirts of Ash Shaddadi, Smokkelaars casualties continue to soar, with the less experienced grunts rushed to the front whilst the more veteran of the Alliansie's forces are moved back to secure the city's interior. The recent capture of the two Kraaivuur International clients, which serves a rather useful morale boosting role, also serves as jusitification for the Alliansie's commanders to pull it's more veteran forces away from the front and to move it's far larger, albeit far less skilled, forces to the front.

With this moving of forces into Ash Shaddadi, and the relatively absent use of force from the AWA's forces in Ash Shaddadi, the Alliansie's men begin to further dig in to the city - literally, in the cases of the improvised air raid shelters that have since become an interlocking maze of mine shafts beneath the city, with the risk of cave-ins and explosions becoming secondary to the beleaguered forces taking shelter in these makeshift store-rooms, barracks' and infirmaries.

With the insurrection in the URR capital dying down from days of intense fighting, the remainder of hardliner communists fight to the death, with the URR sending in their newly equipped forces with the new weapons produced to replace their older M70 URR model. With the new troops clean sweeping the streets URR send their tank divisions south to route the retreating rebels and to cut any hope for a left-winged victory. With the insurrection dying down the URRSS along with the GDB have been searching for the source of the insurrection, and after deep analyzing they might have found an answer - although it is kept from the public till given approval to announce. With the threat of a uprising vanishing the military council have been drawing up plans to reform the current government system, with the possible abolishing of the democratic senate and instating a military junta type government with a Caesar at the head of the government leading the country. The senate will remain, but not as a powerful branch of decision making as they were. Also, the decision to militarize the country with benefits given to those who join the Legion, the ranks of the Legions have risen to over 200,000 from the previous 140,000 - also reserve Legions have grown from 80,000 to 100,000. Your R&D team works at breakneck speed, it seems. You could consider maybe slowing down a slight bit.
No offense, guy, but it just seems like you're taking every vehicle/weapon model you can find and then making a post about how your faction is making it, like if you have a monopoly on this sort of thing. At this point, with all the stuff your faction is "making", it's gonna look like everyone's buying your faction's stuff and/or stealing it's design despite them not wanting to or meaning to.
what if that's his thing, he's just making bootleg versions of anything he can find :v: [editline]25th June 2016[/editline] it's like how in china there's no copyright laws
bootleg abrams tanks they are just die-cast models scaled bigger.
Ninja Nub actually got me there. We are basically china for the PMC industry. Also, yeah, I can't gauge the time very well, I can't tell if we are going via Days or months. After the release of that Mech, I'll slow down the R&D so we can focus on building more factories.
To be honest, my post was less "build slower" and more "stop building". It's better if you got more interactive in this thread in a way other than "im building things".
So, basically cut off manufacturing to other factions and focus more on my PMC section? That'll take some time as if you haven't seen, my faction is contracted to produce things for 3 factions. Plus what else is a Heavy Industries meant to do besides build?
It goes hand in hand with what I mentioned above. We're trying to avoid a situation where someone looks at every single newly released weapon/soldier/vehicle model and essentially "claiming" them by hogging them and saying "My dudes made this."
I can see where your coming from, I think i have an idea for it. I'll post something when I get back from work. for all the factions i'm supplying Punishers with, you'll get them. This won't affect you guys negatively.
I noticed Southern France isn't taken on the map. How would Tbonia respond to a tiny insurrection/faction and rise in French nationalism in the southern wine country?
Tbonia wouldn't care because it's France? But I discourage you from doing anything like you did in World Divided, no faction of samurai riding tricycles with Morgan Freeman as their leader or anything along those lines. Keep it serious.
Hey guys I restructured my Faction I haven't made it official yet. feedback?

GHI is now a subsidiary, which means that it now only does manufacturing. Meaning you won't see any more of it.

the Gecko Group has 2 Subsidiaries that do all the fighting, GDS and WAS. GDS is the ground force, WAS is the air force. I can always choose one or the other.
New Rhodesian Forces of the 9th 'Hond' Gepantserde Verkenning have begun to tighten security on Rhodesias border with Mozambique, following something of an uneasy tension between the two, due to the recent opening of mining operations near Chimhanda, in search of precious metals to bolster Economic output; somthing which has irritated Mozambique for unspecified reasons. Rhodesian Armed Forces patrols will be stepped up on its border with Rhodesia until relations warm with Mozambique.
I'm gonna ask the question on everybody's, though mostly mine's, lips; whatever happened to the AWA?
Nothing, Laggies is probably just a bit busy or a bit unmotivated at the moment, that usually happens to everyone.
As Ash Shaddad's stalemate boils into skirmishes, many of the Alliansie troops begin to experience the spread of combat fatigue, with many questioning the wisdom of holding onto the city in the fights; some outright ignoring orders from their commanders, with a heavily critical outlook on the percieved lack of AWA effort and involvement in the defense of the city against the various PMCs besieging the battered city.

Despite this, most smugglers still continue to take part in the fighting on the outskirts, albeit with heavy hearts, as attacking Trinity, Sparrow, Kraaivuur and Gecko forces continue to try and break the stalemate, with both sides suffering heavy casualties in the ensuing skirmishes and on-off firefights that plague the outskirts of Ash Shaddadi from dawn 'til dusk, with the odd night operations conducted by both sides aimed at sabotaging the other's efforts the following day.

Alliansie commanders outside of the middle east and back in the Alliansie's home continent of Africa, meanwhile, have been toying with the idea of expanding their markets into the particularly thriving country of New Rhodesia, using pre-established smuggling routes and bases in Zimbabwe to funnel narcotics into New Rhodesia's predominantly black neighbourhoods, where the less affluent of society in the apartheid system reside, so as to set up tentative feelers into the country's relatively limited black-market;

usually right under the noses of the New Rhodesian government and law enforcement agencies, apparently unaware of the intrusion of the Alliansie's various smugglers.
What stuff would Alliansie sell me for 1 dollar? An empty bucket?
Knowing the way Rhodesia ended up, one dollar could probably buy you a house and car
Very, very cheap buckets - only used once; minty fresh.
But how is it fresh if it was used?
The greatest con in New Rhodesian history. [editline] 123 [/editline] muhahaha, criminal faction
The TPRoT and SRP continue to hinder progress being made by the Rusty Hammer movement, today they successfully intercepted and, after a brief chase, captured a large shipment of weapons headed to the anti-communist group. The driver was taken to an SRP holding facility and the contents of the crates handed over to Tbonian KGB inspectors. Tbonian President Hermann Kirov has vowed to continue the fight until the group is no longer standing.

As negotiations relating to the return of the two executives continue, Alliansie members shuttle the hostages from safehouse to safehouse, maintaining a strong guardforce around the two hostages, out of experience from their last failed hostage holding. The Alliansie's regional commanders, fully aware of the waning interest in Ash Shaddadi from the rest of the Alliansie thanks to it's drain on resources and lack of monetary production, have taken these hostages both as a statement of intent to hold onto the city and as human shields, hoping to buy themselves breathing room in conflict.
