So, I know I've asked this quite a bit, but can we get a proper headcount of factions in Syria or looking to get into Syria? I've lost track of whether or not certain factions, like Trinity, are in the country. Only one I know that isn't is Tbonia.
Trinity isn't in Syria. Yet.

I'm glad that bitch got what was coming to him
Ok so after having to deal with some improper(and lack of) information from a few people I decided to update the map and rules on the wiki map page when it comes to contacting me. cooperevans07, you don't even have a faction wiki page. You should make one, if you can't then you need to either figure it out or hope someone is kind enough to assist you. Volf, update your faction wiki page. Also next time send me a PM so I actually know what the fuck I'm supposed to change on the map. Everyone else, please read this page regarding the map, territory, areas of influence, etc. I'm not going to search through pages for your faction information. You want to be added? Give me proper information via a private message. http://espionage-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Espionage_Wars_Map
I'll add the important events. But I'm not gonna update my wiki every time one of my guys so much as scratches their nuts.
I'll add the important events. But I'm not gonna update my wiki every time one of my guys so much as scratches their nuts.
Your territory wasn't where it said it was on your wiki page. You mentioned that it wasn't there later but then you never followed up with anymore information afterwards except that it was located near the Tunguska event site. Now you've split your territory in half as well due to an internal conflict. Those are some pretty major changes/events. Don't be a smartass either, I didn't say you needed to change little things.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to be an ass. It's been a long few weeks. I've got a lot of real-world stress weighing on my shoulders so stuff's been slipping my mind a lot more than usual lately.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to be an ass. It's been a long few weeks. I've got a lot of real-world stress weighing on my shoulders so stuff's been slipping my mind a lot more than usual lately.
You aren't the only one.
If you need an example of what a sorry state my thought process is in here's one. I literally just did this. I went to the workshop to download something, typed it in and even hit enter to search and when I got to the page I sat there for a good 30 seconds going "What the fuck am I looking for again?" before I realized I was already there.
Speaking of the wiki, why do we have an article on the FN FAL?
Early this morning, the 55th Imperial Airborne Brigade was placed on standby with no explanation. Then at 2100 hours, the unit was given the order to grab their kit and load up onto their transport planes. No information was given to the troops about their mission or destination. All they were told was that this would be a real combat drop and not a drill.

Speaking of the wiki, why do we have an article on the FN FAL?
There's a wiki article on the FAL because I realized that there are some weapons on there, and the FAL is currently being used by 3 (to my knowledge) factions, and this :http://espionage-wars.wikia.com/wiki/M416_Assault_Rifle page is similar, that and I was bored and needed something to take my mind off stuff. And if you're going to be a dick about me adding it, why are there others on there already?
And if you're going to be a dick about me adding it, why are there others on there already?
A few things here. 1) I didn't know you made it. 2) I don't think we really need articles like those. 3) I asked a simple question, how is that being a dick? Articles on real life weapons/equipment kinda seems counter-intuitive especially since they're real life things anyone can just google to read up about. Articles like those ought to only be limited to original weapons/equipment/vehicles that factions make, like if someone made their own original rifle/tank or something.
1) I didn't know you made it. A) What would be the difference if I or someone else made it? 2) I don't think we really need articles like those. B)Ok, that's your opinion, as I said I was bored and needed something to do, and I don't see the harm in it 3) I asked a simple question, how is that being a dick? C)I never said you were a dick for asking (I'm sorry if it came out that way), it was if you decided to get angry about it, if it will help smooth things over, and people want me to I will ask a moderator to delete the article. Articles on real life weapons/equipment kinda seems counter-intuitive especially since they're real life things anyone can just google to read up about. Articles like those ought to only be limited to original weapons/equipment/vehicles that factions make, like if someone made their own original rifle/tank or something. D) Ok, I just saw that there were pages on real life weapons on the wiki already (M16,Ak101,M/HK416) and decided to make a page for a FAL, so people whose factions are using it can link to the article.
I'm not upset or angry at you over anything. Hell, i'm not even mildly irked by our little spat over what happened last page. I just want to know why we would need pages on real life things when we can consult the actual Wikipedia for those things. And just to clarify so as to not single you out: This also goes for that other page you mentioned as well, and any other page like it.
General rule for weapon/vehicle pages is if it was created in this thread and doesn't exist in real life then you can (optionally) make a page for it. [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] It's also because having a page for every weapon used in esp wars would probably turn our 200 article wiki into a 1,000+ article wikia since some factions use entire generations worth of weapons, so it's best to just stick with stuff your faction 'created/invented' in-game.
Ok, I'll edit the page to be more faction related. Sorry
I think I did technically submit my faction and then went on to do nothing, or was planning on it. Well I'm going to try to join in and actually do my best to be active. Name: Tiger Company The Tiger Company refers to two entities, for the purposes of the thread, it will most often refer to the PMC, although it also refers to the corporation itself. Founded as a new company in 2010, Tiger found quick success within the US, and expanded outward. Due to the conflicts of the world, CEO Charlie Brooks decided to fund the PMC sector of Tiger. The corporation is involved in multiple markets, from electronics, to automobile parts and are in the works to begin an R&D team for weaponry to outfit their troops for even less money. Due to Brooks founding and funding the PMC, many think he is the leader of the PMC, which isn't quite true. He has hired the rather mysterious Tigran Komarov, a Russian immigrant who showed great prowess with weaponry and leadership for Brooks to offer him this job. Although none have seen his face beside Brooks, leading to some thinking Komarov is just Brooks in a specially designed set of Elite Gear due to them seemingly never being seen in one place, although these rumors are just that. The Mission is rather simple. Tiger Corp is out to make money, be it through using military force to overwhelm opponents who would be a threat, or simply offering the services of the PMC to those who can pay the bill, they will do most anything if it means profits. The PMC aspect of Tiger has been in progress for quite some time, but only recently have they actually been active. In their early works, the Tiger PMC mostly saw guard duty for various VIPs of other companies. But are planning to think over the current conflicts in the world, and deploy in the most strategic locations for a profit, be it by selling their services, or securing natural resources. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/oANfIy.jpg[/t] The Elites of Tiger Company, Despite the name, these aren't quite the best of the best of the force, but are still quite formidable foes in battle. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/VN2bXy.jpg[/t] A Tiger Convoy in the Countryside, these are the front of the Convoy, taking off ahead to ensure there is no threat to a VIP riding further back. Seen here is a selection of the Tiger Forces. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/Ma2SEr.jpg[/t] The CEO of The Tiger Corporation, Charlie Brooks. Tiger Company's location is quite hard to pin down precisely, though. Do I go with the Corporation? They are based in New York City primarily, with various skyscrapers in other cities. Or would I focus on the main base of the PMC? Which would be somewhere on the outskirts of NYC. I also will get to the Wiki page, a shot of all the units, and of course a release. I am gonna possibly add two more vehicles to their arsenal so I'd rather see about that and then release than release early, but that'll have to wait, it's currently 8:15 am and I forgot to go to sleep earlier. EDIT:Well judging by the map, Trinity owns the area, so I guess the PMC can't quite reside there per the rules, and I should have probably checked first, whoops. But the corporation's main HQ could still be there, yeah? It doesn't really have much bearing over the PMC besides funding it, doesn't really house any soldiers besides the ones acting as guards inside.
I think the creator of the 416 page was Komnandant, I remember his 3 or 5 tons H&K [SP]Damn, this was supposed to be in the other page, sorry[/SP]
EDIT:Well judging by the map, Trinity owns the area, so I guess the PMC can't quite reside there per the rules, and I should have probably checked first, whoops. (I see corporate offices acting as a PMC's verson of an embassy, really.) I just personally wouldn't suggest making it your MAIN HQ since Trinity's headquarters is a short distance away in Boston.
Trinity isn't in Syria. Yet.
As strange as it might seem, I wouldn't mind the idea of either Tbonia or Trinity getting involved in Syria. The more the merrier; that, and I'm getting kinda bored of the same old people rolling around in the sandbox of Syria. Gosh darn it, I wanna fight 'Muricans.
As strange as it might seem, I wouldn't mind the idea of either Tbonia or Trinity getting involvedin Syria. Gosh darn it, I wanna fight 'Muricans.
What, us Soufricans not good enough eh?, But yes, it would be good to see a bit more activity in Syria, and a few less WMDs as well. :EDIT: Also what are the rules on sub-factions, I'd quite like to make a country as I'm trying to move away from Kraaivuur being in 14 places at once, and places they don't have a reason to be in Baltia for example. And I'm trying to focus on them being a more elite and smaller force instead of a army that conducts sieges of cities.
A sub-faction is allowed, but only one. That's what I get from reading the OP. Also would an entire island be too much for a new faction? Nothing massive, just Grand Manan Island, off the coast of Maine. If that's too much to start, the smaller White Head Island in the same area could also work, they wouldn't so much as completely own all the land, as it's a Canadian island, merely have a strong presence there, while owning some of the land. EDIT: Have pictures of the various units, I'll go more into them when I get to the wiki page. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/bdhMtY.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/28wayj.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/vRLIPr.jpg[/t] And this should hopefully be my last sort of getting settled in post.
AWA insurgents would watch the Local news, only to discover that the Karaqi President has exposed the Smokkelaars for attempting to trade with them; without AWA even being aware of it. This has caused AWA soldiers to distrust their Ally, who were previously on good terms for a short moment. Creating a new tension between the two factions in Syria...
Lennox Allbright, the local Smokkelaars Alliansie commander in Ash Shaddadi, is pulled from his position and "re-stationed" to Tiefouma once again; largely after having become personae non gratae following the AWA and Smokkelaars Alliansie's awkward confrontation over an attempted deal with Karaq and his involvement, though partly also for the embarrasing amount of internet memes and joke videos featuring Allbright making him a laughing stock amongst the organisation, the head-shed of the Alliansie is keen to repair the strained relationship, not willing to lose a cash-crop relationship that has been beneficial to the organisation for some time. Allbright leaves, albeit reluctantly, aboard one of the more recent deliveries in the country; several or so UH-1 Iroqouis.

As a way of mending the fractured relationship, the Smokkelaars propose a "joint-operations air-support service"; that is, a small porition of the Smokkelaars' UH-1 Iroqouis fleet offered up as both a med-evac and air attack force, available for service to the AWA and it's affiliates. Certain AWA leaders are satisfied with the deal; others, on the other hand, take promises of Smokkelaars support with a pinch of salt. For the most part, the Smokkelaars in the country, especially the lower-level smugglers, begin once again to feel the pressure of a shattered, though brief, friendship; the higher-level smugglers become keenly aware that one of the few ways to mend support in this case would be to militarily back the AWA as with the failed Inkhil military adventure; bringing fears of yet another disastrous campaign in the Middle East.

Elsewhere, in Togo, Tiefouma, the "good doctor" of the Smokkelaars Alliansie, Danie Van Der Klooster, finally manages to convince the Smokkelaars leaders to allow him to set up a dedicated Research & Development team. Whilst nowhere near a functional, scientifically minded cabal, with Danie being the only one with a degree present, it is, as Danie has claimed, a step in the right direction towards a fully functional R&D team for the Alliansie, researching compounds for stimulants, food and even the more arcane sciences, like cybernetic implants.
