Hello everyone here is my faction Name: The Messina Clan Info: operating since the early 60s the Messina crime family became quite powerful in italy however it decided that in order to avoid confict with other mafia familes it would focus its efforts on other countries. It has been active in South America, the Carribean, Africa and the Middle East for quite some time now (it has however ignored Asia, not seeing much profit to be had from the "yellows". the towerlight war and the honshu state have also intimidated them, as well as the peculiar robots that arrived). In order to make even more money the Don in 1975 decided to form a mercenary group called Venditori di Morte or Salesmen of Death. It hires like a normal illegal merc group but it has the added bonus of mafia capos being placed there for punishment, so if they mess up they'll be made to fight alongside the Salesmen in punishemnt instead of being executed or exiled. They fought in the Yugoslav Wars with the Croats and in the war of Rhodesia against the Rhodesians, for money of course. They are still active today and can be hired.... however any nation hiring them should be careful, they may not slit the throat of those who hire them but they'll still try to take your wallet! Here is a picture of what they look like, i will make a picture soon [T]https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/938135151846182299/0EB5D01E5EECA19BC6A14B52524AD57DBC8275AB/[/T] (User was permabanned for this post ("Alt of permabanned user" - Mezzokoko))
The Messina Clan has made its first moves into Argent after a few years of planning. They start with an age old tradition, a new member of the mafia operation in that area must kill a rival gang leader, in this case a local Mugroso. The meeting was set up in friendly pretenses but soon turned sour as the Mafia leaped into action and killed the leader and his 5 cohorts. A tiny step into a big puddle
[IMG_thumb]http://wduwant.com/index_uploads/uploads/9170f4c081d8.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Edit: oops sorry everyone messed up the image link :chillout:
Ok. Just got online today and found that someone named MarcoRivignani decided to muck around on Blackforce's info, mostly in terms of numbers and also where one of my field offices are located. I have since reversed the edit. Marco, if you are reading this, can you not do that in the future. In most cases, its a simple case of 'If it isn't yours, don't touch', but in this case, I was actually lucky enough to be able to use my faction's wiki page for a couple of TAFE assessments last year and I worked my arse off to get it to where it is. I don't know what you're intentions were, but it's just not right. Thank you.

We have to thank the honest and hard working people of the United Provinces of allowing us a new start far from our venerable land, dear brothers and sisters... Doughan: Well, there's literally no way in hell you'll be able to push the E.R.R out of Istanbul, it is their Constantinople after all, they'll fight with teeth and claws for it... But if you play your cards right, put your aces in the right place, you might be able to hold them off from Ankara and if you manage to keep them off that city, you could be able to tire them out until they open up for treaty... but that's very unlikely, you are fighting against several powerful groups Alejandro... Alejandro: Hm... Doughan: Now let me tell you something else, Eastern Turkey is pretty much, well, I wouldn't say untouched by the hands of The Pact, but it is safe from their reach thanks to Ankara, correct? Alejandro: Yeah, why? are you trying to say something? Doughan: ...well, what if Ankara did fail and you were forced to pull out of Turkish lands without a single penny in return and now with a bunch of hungry immigrants at your airports? Alejandro: Honestly, I just want to get those people out of there at this point... but yeah, it would be... a huge loss for our economy. Doughan: What if you got your money back? Lets see... there are several petrol reserves around the Eastern region as well local refineries of materials still untouched, thousands of dollars banked around as well as fine minerals stored in large warehouses... do you see where I'm heading at? Let's be real Alejandro, if Ankara fails you need the money... and with Ankara destroyed that would be the end of Turkey as a country, might as well get your money back while you can, nobody is stopping you, there's no politician in Turkey still alive after a year fucking merciless war my boy, enjoy the distraction your brave soldiers are giving and send those fancy toy soldiers of the chink lady you have to secure all the goods and transport them safely towards here -- let the fucking Romans enjoy that nasty carcass they want to conquer... and hey, who knows! maybe your troops will prove themselves heroes and keep Ankara standing, if that's the case... you'll be seen as the man who stood up against the most powerful alliance in history, it's... a win-win situation if you ask me. In 2017 August 31, the meeting has been held about the border policy, in which agreement was made, The Open Border policy will be reformed due following reasons: The policy was made by CSN alliance which was disbanded few months prior The policy hurt Volhynia more than benefited very few GDS educated citizens have chosen to take jobs in Volhynians top engineering, medical and other science fields. The Policy has caused the brain drain in Volhynia. The New Policy The new policy still gives an option for a Volhynian citizen to emigrate to GDS, but now in order to pass the border legally ,they require (visas which they can get in Volhynian immigration offices) and the official approval from both GDS immigration officeand Volhynian immigration office. this new policy makes sure only required educated citizen can migrate in the way it does not hurt Volhynia. The potential issues have been discussed such as illegal migrants, for which solution was created recruiting and stationing more border guards for both sides in order to secure the borders and solve the issue of migration. and finally, extreme new order been given to borders guards order to fire which instructed the guards how to behave when spotted the illegal crossing attempt, the basic rules are once spotted the fugitive attempting to cross the border the guard must yell ''Stop, and stand still or ill shot'' if the fugitive doesn't respond the guard fires one warning shot, if the fugitive doesn't respond the guard has the full permission to shoot the fugitive in order to stop the crossing. if the fugitive complied or was simply injured he must be taken to the local Volhynian checkpoint if the fugitive is Volhynian or take fugitive to local GDS checkpoint if he/she is foreign/Samogitian. It is estimated by officials that his order will reduce and discourage illegal crossings in long term due to the fatal attempts that are expected in the future.

Munich, Bavaria
[img_thumb]https://imgur.com/qNErlwu.jpg[/img_thumb]
Widespread rioting continues for its third week in Bavaria. Civil unrest continues to increase with the prolonging of the war in Turkey. Rioting has increased tenfold in violence as rioters have taken to the streets with weapons intent on destroying and injuring any sort of property or personnel of the state. In Munich, Police forces are spread thin with resources and the city is close to declaring a state of emergency, calling for the presence of Bavarian Armed Forces to take over and settle the situation. We contacted Gerbert Jäger, Interim Vice President for a comment on this increase in violence over the phone. Reporter: Good afternoon, Mr. Vice President. Gerbert Jäger: Likewise. Reporter: For the record, both parties have allowed government officials to document and record this phone call for security purposes. Gerbert Jäger: I have acknowledged this statement. Reporter: Very good. Mr. Vice President, can you explain this increase in violence and can you also explain the states response to this violence? Gerbert Jäger: From complete speculation, the state believes that this increase in violence is caused by the reports of violation of humanitarian laws against the civilian populace of Turkey. We have not entered into investigation of these claims, and we have acknowledged these claims of atrocities. We will launch an investigation as soon as we may do so and take necessary action that the state department believes is needed. In regards of the states response to the violence, we will look into the involvement of the army to ease the situation. However, this is a last resort. Reporter: When do you think the armed forces will pull out of Turkey? Gerbert Jäger: Our mandate to stay is until December 31st. I am sure the conflict will end by then. If the House decides to vote for the prolonging of the mandate, we will extend it. Reporter: President Henry Habsbacht has been touring the country in rioting cities. Do you believe the riots are a threat to him? Gerbert Jäger: His security detail is fully capable in protecting him against maximum five people. If he is to venture into a group of rioters, he is placing himself in extreme danger without any regard for the safety of his detail. Reporter: That will be all. If you wish to get into contact with our office, please call us. Gerbert Jäger: Thank you. *hangs up*
Large parts of city are ruined by overwhelming artillery fire and multiple bombing air sorties, though a big presence of entrenched Turkish troops are still firmly holding their positions. With Bavarian forces already made a spearhead attack into the urban areas, the arrival of allies will soon consume Bursa. Today, Order starts the attack of the city from northeast, only supported by allied rocket artillery and limited armor support. This is the first battle for Order where their own mechanized units and artillery pieces are used with no aid from allies.

Outskirts of Eskişehir

The city that was was struck by horrifying white phosphorus strike earlier is now facing an extra threat of Order. During last few days crusaders were surrounding Eskişehir from north and west and awaiting for ERR's forces start the offensive from southwest. Dreadful sights of not retrieved charred corpses have already been witnessed by forward scouts. In the meantime, Order strike squads ambush any enemy personnel operating outside the city. Damned sellswords of Gecko and heretic puppets of UPA are encountered by crusaders quite often, all of them met with zealous wrath inspired by sermons of Order's preachers. Previously tame monk soldiers have been reported to have massacred 23 enemy soldiers (20 turk, 3 UPA) who attempted to surrender not far from town of Orta. Another incident occurred near coastal town of Gemlik where 4 civilians and 3 turk POW's were impaled on stakes along the road leading to Bursa. Such brutality previously unseen from monk soldiers has been likely inspired by Inquisition teams sent to Turkey for psy-ops and anti-resistance missions.
A New War Is Coming
Crimea has evolved over many months. Seeing the birth of three nations, and the fall of two in the year of 2017. A tragic accident left Brig. Gen. Kolchak severely wounded, his face being horribly disfigured by said accident. The exact details of the accident are unclear, but it gets worse. Fregata's headquarters was hit by a terrorist attack, the attackers unknown. The damages were too much for Fregata, causing the N.D.C.R to pull back its blank check, forcing Fregata to declare bankruptcy. Without Fregata, Ukraine was hung out to dry alone. Not too long after the attack, a group with a massive sphere of influence in northern Crimea claimed responsibility for the attack; the N.D.C.R was about ready to start pointing fingers at the Order after what they did in Turkey. This group is known only as the Crimean Liberation Front. Now Crimea is vulnerable and open to an invasion from any faction in the Eurasian Pact, the Crimean people becoming divided. The stage has been perfectly set...for the Crimean Civil War.
[t]https://orig09.deviantart.net/102e/f/2017/249/7/1/crimean_civil_war_by_halo2arbiter117-dbmmleq.jpg[/t] Above: The Crimean Civil War begins. The serum, while making the androsynth far more formidable and brutal in combat, has the cost of gradually deteriorating the body and mental state of it's user. Experimentation on the serum never stopped, and the Dissector sect continues to seek ways to make it more potent. A single bomb took away Fregata's dreams of propelling itself on the world stage as a powerful Private Military Contract. Instead, the Tsardom and Order are most likely LAUGHING and cherishing their now easy road to Kyiv as Fregata units disorganized and without leadership back in Sevastopol or on the field limp back to Crimea. The bankruptcy was confirmed and Fregata was officially closed down, the remains of the headquarters to be demolished. In its place, the community has gained government support to build an orphanage in its place. It's kind of ironic. Children left by their parents to fend for themselves. The operators have been left by their parent; left as orphans. Orphans of war. They are an army without a company. Unless they have a family (which most don't), they are hoping to get back home and have a nice house to come back to. For those whom Fregata has become their home are left to a worse fate: unemployment and homelessness. Young warriors left to rot in the streets of society begging for money and food. But luckily for them, the president was given an idea. He would give these warriors a second chance under his wing as commander-in-chief, by creating a whole new military branch for these grizzled veterans.
As of now, this contract has been accepted and made effective immediately. Situation As you may know, Turkey has been under attack by the powers of ERR, Kergikstan, Karaq, and the Order, who have allied together in a coalition to procure the country and establish a new order among it's citizens. The Foreign Legion
After four to five days of debate, Kongress finally approved of the president's bill to establish a new military branch that will open up recruitment to foreigners. This military branch has been established as the Crimean Foreign Legion. The president also went live and announced this worldwide, stating that the Crimean Foreign Legion is one of two ways to attain citizenship into the N.D.C.R. The first being that you do a LOT of paperwork and tests, and wait months or even years for an answer. The second, serve three mandatory years with the Foreign Legion and automatically attain citizenship, whether wounded in action or your three years are up. The first 7,245 recruits for the Legion were, in fact, the former operators of Fregata. Reporter: Good morning mister President. Alejandro: Good morning to you as well. Reporter: Mister President, earlier this week the Tsardom of Volhynia announced that they will join the war efforts of the Eastern Roman Republic in the war of Turkey, what are your thoughts on this? Alejandro: First and foremost, regarding his crowning and the passing of his father, I want to express my best wishes to the future Tsar, Vitaly Romanov, I know what it is to lose someone very important in ones life, my best wishes for his crowning ceremony, I hope he opens his eyes and his heart to the needs of his people. As for his lies and slander -- he can go fuck himself -- if he wants to help his allies, fine by me, we won't stop until we push the Pact out of Turkish lands, but accuse us of killing innocents? ludicrous. [Several of the bodyguards seem to be laughing.] Reporter: Uhh... right, uh... another thing I wanted to ask you mister President is the recent backlash from both the Socialist Front of the People and the Silver Civic Union of la Matanza, regarding the recent involvement of Penumbra, to the SFP, we shouldn't be hiring more military companies and bringing their business here in the nation while the SCUM says that we shouldn't be fighting this war in the first place and that we should pull out of Turkey as soon as we can. Alejandro: I'll be completely honest with you miss, I give two damns what the communists or the nationalists think, they should shut up and look at their own problems... like why they are losing the popular vote for the incoming senator elections. Reporter: Thank you for your time Mr. President. Alejandro: Thank you.

Inside the Pink House, Alejandro makes his way to the meeting room where he is greeted by the tired faces of his employees. Alejandro: Doughan. Updates. Now. Doughan: Well, first of all I want to congratulate you for hiring a decent private military company of renown like Penumbra, no offence to you Miss Lee. Catherine: ... Alejandro: Doughan, I said updates. Doughan: Right, well things are becoming a bit more even and that's all thanks to the Firebrand Confederation, they're now recruiting civilians and should be hindering the progress of enemy parties through the contested zones -- but there's something we need to discuss about 'em Alejandro, giving them support should be one of your top priorities to be on their good side. Alejandro: will this affect Plan B? Doughan: It could indeed, I'll take that if we manage to stop the enemy forces from advancing to Ankara the Turkish people in the Eastern region will notice that little scheme, and Firebrand is with the people -- the last thing we need is another enemy in the battlefield. Alejandro: Now that Penumbra is working in securing Ankara and the surrounding areas we will be able to send more troops to the front line -- Miss Lee, you've talked wonders of your Raptor Teams, send them to secure important resource locations, we still need the armored front to lead our charge against enemy forces so don't make any changes there. Catherine: Understood, I'll make the calls. Alejandro: Meanwhile... Marcelo, organize a meeting with the generals, we need to organize our military on Ankara. Marcelo: What about Bursa? Alejandro: What of it? Marcelo: The Kergisktan army is reaching there and are trying to open a breach in defenses. Alejandro: ...Right, I think this is a good opportunity to show Firebrand we are on their side and in the side of the Turkish people.
Project MIDS and Project Deterrence
Not much is known about the two projects except for two basic functions: one is defensive and one is offensive. The rising threat of a scud first-strike by the ERR on the mainland hasn't gone unnoticed; the ERR demonstrating in Turkey that they are ready, willing, and able to launch said missiles. The scud payloads of course, remain unknown, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. The N.D.C.R has no defence against ballistic and inter-continental weapons and WMDs, so the military wished to remedy this. With permission from the President, the Ground Forces has began working alongside the Strategic Missile Troops sub branch of the Aerospace Forces to construct five large, subterranean complexes in Crimea. This has been labelled Project MIDS, but no one knows what MIDS is or means. Two of the construction sites though require extra guards since they are operating within the influenced area of the CLF, and they keep a constant eye out for suspicious persons with orders to detain unauthorized personnel on sight. In addition to Project MIDS, another project was undertaken at the same time; Project Deterrence. So not only are there five large construction sites for these five complexes, but the Crimean military has also started to mine at one of its uranium deposits for *CLASSIFIED INFORMATION*.
[t]https://orig00.deviantart.net/28b5/f/2017/266/8/d/projects_mids_and_deterrence_by_halo2arbiter117-dbob5t6.jpg[/t] [t]https://orig00.deviantart.net/3483/f/2017/266/e/e/project_mids_deterrence_by_halo2arbiter117-dbobc7i.jpg[/t] Above Left: The commander in charge of construction of Site Alpha checks to see if the diggers made any progress.
