I am aware that sv_allowupload is a pretty bad idea as it can lead to things that people don't want to deal with at all, but is there any risk having allowdownload on? I believe that is for downloading things such as materials and such off the server, I am aware fastdl is a better option, but I do not have it right now. Ive heard many things about servers getting their config downloaded or other things, would that even be related to allowdownload or would that be a backdoor in a addon, or would it even be because allowupload is allowed and was exploited? Sorry if Im hard to understand. Basically is there any risk to allowdownload if allowupload was disabled and there is no backdoor'd addons? Any response appreciated.
