I have a self hosted server, but every time it starts up it crashes. I think it has something about the map and commandline. The map I run on it is rp_evocity_v33x.
I hope someone has the answer!
Try putting r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 in the server's autoexec.cfg
I already got that in my command line
have you tried to change the map?
Yes that works, but I want the map to be rp_evocity_v33x
tbh my advice is not using evocity...evocity is aboslutley overused, especially v33x. It is super bad with performance, ESPECIALLY when you have alot players.
I know, but I think that it is a great map to start off with
nope. If you have no players at all use a smaller map. Why use a huge map, where no player will ever meet a other player because you only have like 3 players?
Now we're going off track! So do you any idea how to fix my problem?
I know it seems stupid but try putting it in the autoexec anyway. Using the command line for anything beyond port, server name, IP, starting map, etc. never seemed like a good idea to me because, while I may be talking out of my ass here, some commands might not like being used right at the beginning of srcds starting. Autoexec executes a little bit after, IIRC.
Like in the srcds_run?
I don't know if there is an error with my autoexec.cfg, curse it was empty, but it still crashes.
