But I do have to say I like gmod better, and was planning on getting some building in this evening, now my well though out builds from today while I was working are going to get forgotten, unless i write them down that is.

I think I might have jinxed it :/ and like i said earlier, that is why you should not wait expecting for it to work again within an hour or something. Normally it takes about a few days... Just be patient.

Last time i checked the model viewer crashed everytime i tried to even browse for models for some reason. Maybe i have to reconfigure it....

Windows Users, you are not the only ones! OS X users have the same thing too. The Black Screen is also like half a minute or 15 seconds. Maybe less. It was 0.5 seconds all the time for me... Anyway... Error...

Not exactly. It's part of the R.A.G.E.-engine (Rockstars Advanced Game Engine) from GTAIV. Euphoria is also implemented in SW:TFU I+II, RDR and the upcoming Max Payne³. In GMod, as an additional feature, it would kick major ass! But i guess, that'll be just a wish.
euphoria is basically a central nervous system simulator, it's what makes peds try to cover their heads seamlessly as you're ramming them with your car, also it's how they stand up and react to bullets and so, instead of canned animations (or just limp ragdolls like in hl2) it simulates the way people would react
That said, it's perfect sandbox material
