Startup CTD -> Could not get client.dll interface from library client - Help

is there anyway to temporarily nosteam/offline mod gmod 10 until the servers/gmod is back up?

Not to nag Garry, but, is there an ETA on when a fix might be sent out?

Darn, I was hoping it was the new spawnmenu or something in the most recent update...but nope. Oh well, back to browsing random threads...

FUDGE Valve! They insist on making some minor update that destroys a game used by millions, but they insist on NEVER completing Episode 3. Also, it seems [B]Hammer Editor in Source SDK does not work[/B] either. So now I can't play Gmod, OR make maps. That's the only thing steam-related I ever do >_>... Edit: Okay.. Valve actually do a good job... but... I think they should at least give a heads-up to Garry so he can release a Gmod update simultaneously with their update.

Sigh...and I was looking forward to creating creepy pictures with the Tails Doll ragdoll I found.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one having this problem. I haven't been using Garry's Mod lately and just got back into it, then I tried to load it today and it was being a jerk. I believe this is all a ploy in order to get people to play Team Fortress 2 more.... considering that's what broke it. =P

TF2 updated at the same time that garrysmod updated and both are broken. They are still, broken.

It was worth the hats in TF2.

To fix TF2, go inside the main TF2 folder and delete the cache folder. I tried with Gmod already, doesn't work.

hopefully its fixed soon.. i also wanted to kick back and relax playing some gmod and came into this issue AGAIN.. Garry hurry and fix this problem quick please, I want to get back to some ttt.

I still think Valve should contact popular source mod developers about a source engine update maybe a day or less before they actually apply the update or something.
