Well i was at vilayer for a while. and trust me, they had no anti-ddos :D
some peopple raging ingame and boom .your server is dead when playing with 25 people.

I would recommend NFO servers as they have a anti ddos system/firewall you can configure and block ip's as you wish.. I have had no issues and been with them for 7 months now.

NFO is probably the best around, but more expensive than most. If you want to try something different check out a vps for hosting. Not Vilayer their cores would max out at 70% not 100% on GMod. I use [url]www.linode.com[/url]. For gameservers I would not go with Vilayer. I used them for game server hosting and don't get me wrong they have a good amount of nice features, but some of their support is just incompetent. I told them my server wouldn't start/restart and they told me it was fine. At the time my server had no pid (processor id number)... When I first came at them with the ticket they told me

I then went off with a large explanation of how it was not my addons after I had removed them all and my data files to just prove the point. And then I pointed out the processor id problem to them which they obviously didn't see.
In the end the only response he had was reinstalling my server. I understand when addons are a problem, but I was not at fault here. Also as someone else pointed out their servers are laggy if you are doing any kind of intense gamemodes. I run a build/kill server with ACF.
To end this large post, don't go with Vilayer
