Failing pretty badly at trying to run a server off of Linux.

Just copy your entire console output in some way after restarting the server.

edit: I managed to fix it.

I set the mount cfg to:

"cstrike" "/home/server/css/cstrike"

server is the user name.

hopefully it will actually work now.

Is your Counter-Strike Source folder called css?

The server is working for the most part now. The hands in the viewmodels are really strange looking and have blue shirt sleeves, and there are a few weapon animation glitches, but everything works.

I just need to install ULX, maybe some kind of rock the vote mod, and a few weapon mods, then it's finished.

Those "blue sleeves" are Max's new citizen hands (well not that new but anyways). Can you send any screenshots/videos of these glitches and weird animations?
