Hello. Whenever I plan on adding a TTT gun (ttt base, yes), I will usually find it in the workshop. I subscribe to this weapon, and then when I spawn it into my server through rcon ent, there's no errors at all. However, even when I make my players download EVERY SINGLE FILE that is in that addon, in the proper folder, they still get errors. I ALSO make them download the exact same workshop item through resource.AddWorkshop( "155248023" ). What could possibly be the problem? I've noticed that this has happened with m9k mods too. Every gun would work for me, but making them download them from the workshop doesn't work either.
With resource.AddWorkshop( "155248023" ) + all of the files force downloaded with this workshop content, players are able to see the gun and use it, but it's in black/pink checkerboard textures. Yet the gun is still black + pink for everyone (excluding myself) What is the problem? Thanks for your time. Tell the users to go to garrysmod/downloads/ and look for something like ds_155248023 just to see if they do in fact download it from the workshop. They could also check in garrysmod/download/ to see if they downloaded the necessary files. One other thing is when connecting tell someone with the errors to check the console for http download errors.
