I have no addons, albeit some custom content from my own gameservers and The Freeze tends to last around 5 seconds for me. Pretty sure it's inevitable. Just loading time.
I freeze for like a minute or two.
Any more help? My Disk is 0% Fragmented.
Don't blame Garry, it's just Steam Pipe that fucked up almost everything, the day before Steam Pipe, my GMod was fine and not freezing, after Steam Pipe, it freezed when it was done loading the menu, freezed when clicking a menu button, loading a map, finished loading a map, opening the spawn menu, spawning a prop, started walking, firing my toolgun/physgun, well literally everything started freezing...

They have to fix this or i wasted my 10 dollars.:suicide:
One way to reduce loading is to delete your gmod folder under common. Gmod and your suscribed Addons will re download, but you will have freed gmod from a lot of custom server stuff which clogs things up. It was also suggested to do this in the gm 13 update anyways, if you haven't already.

After several addons downloads garrysmod is crashed :v:
I can recommend a better internet connection, or better computer :D There will always be some amount of waiting, but you might be able to minimize the "2 minutes" you have been experiencing with faster download speeds. As far as it freezing up when trying to leave or exit gmod, your going to need to get a higher performance computer if it is really causing problems or you can look into problems such as having too many programs running at the same time and turning down your game quality.
