mse is bad, it has no generic detection. if theres a zero day or a virus not added, to put it lightly, youd be fucked. also, why do all you think its a virus? its just a false positive

uninstall avast and get malware/ learn how to fix shit yourself.
Most viruses are easier as fuck to delete yourself. Just delete that garbage AV
Happened to me. I just restored the files and switched back to Security Essentials because avast was fucking around with me anyway, and I usually delete viruses myself. SE is just my backup plan.

do not listen to this man. removing malware yourself is very dangerous unless you know how, and even then some malware is basically impossible to remove by hand
