Don't CF 5670 from scratch. Ever. I could maybe understand it if you already had a 5670, and didn't want to spend money on a better single GPU, but this is stupid.
Go for the most powerful single card you can at the moment and then get a second when the price drops when they announce new lines of cards for a cheap performance boost.

Refresh rate is measured in hertz. 60Hertz means it refrshes 60 times a second.(not that it only show 60 images a second) Go read up on refresh rate and fps. You cans till see the difference bitween 120 and 60 fps on a 60 Hertz monitor.
